None of you have heard from me in quite the while.

I still write, and I have been making stories... But I haven't the time to come on here and type them all up.

Not really in the mood to do that, most days.

Perhaps, though, one day you'll see some new work.

You may be thinking "Isn't this considered new work". If you are, then you would be half right, half wrong. This is a preplanned thing for school. Not a creative piece of writing. So, read if you'd like to. You don't necessarily have to, though.

First Dream - Under the Influence of Drugs :

Running, I just keep running. I don't know where I'm going, but I do know I'm outside. There are streetlights, and leaves that indicate this dream taking place during the autumn season. I trip on something protruding outwards from the ground. That is when I am swallowed into blackness. There is nothing in the darkness, and I can't hear anything either. There are no more crunching leaves, no more street lights... Nothing. I'm in the abyss. With the sensation of someone touching my shoulder, I go to turn around only to be jolted back into reality - I've woken up.

Second Dream - Under the Influence of Drugs :

There's a little girl sitting in a staircase not too far from where I'm standing. I can only see her slightly; she's blonde, wearing a grey dress, and her shoes are black church shoes. Her head is down, and by instinct I reach out to touch her. I tell her it'll all be okay - she says nothing. I'm sitting beside her now, trying to make out her face from under blonde locks. I hear a noise and look away for literally a second, only to look back to see she's gone. This was when I woke up.

Third Dream - Clean :

I'm walking with a friend; I don't know their name, their gender, race, or native-tongue, but I do know that we're close. I can feel it. Their arm is linked with mine, and we're walking. There is no designated place, nor time that we must arrive. We're simply taking a stroll. Then all of a sudden, the grip on my arm loosens, and I find myself alone. I stand there, looking for the person I have lost - though even if I spotted someone, I wouldn't know if it was them just by looking. I hear a low growl, and look up to see that its gotten extremely dark all of a sudden. The only light are the few stars shining through a canopy of tree-tops. I brace myself, hearing the sticks break and the brush move from behind me. When I turn, I see a wolf-man standing in the brush. He bares his teeth at me, and I am prepared for the worst. I can feel my body convulse outside of the dream. That is when I feel two strong arms envelope me in warmth. When I opened my eyes, I was back in my bedroom, all sweaty from fear, but awake and alright.

Fourth Dream - Under the Influence of Drugs & Alcohol :

There is nothing but blood. I'm inside a washroom, and the floor, walls, tub, sink and even, myself are all covered in the thick liquid. I'm not scared though, for some reason I feel alright. I get to the door and try the handle, but it won't move. I try pulling, but that also does no good. I'm stuck in the bloody-mess of a washroom. That is when it occurs to me, for there to be this much blood, there has to be a body. So, I begin my search. It wasn't before long that I noticed the mutilated form laying in the bathtub. As I knelt down, and peered over the edge I could see clearly, that it was in fact my elder brother. I began to panic, and that was when the door opened. I took no time in running out into the open hallway. But, when I reached the front door and walked out onto the streets, I wished I had stayed in the bathroom - There was a hoard of zombies, and I was hit with "game over". I woke up just before I was eaten.

Fifth Dream - Clean :

There's a little girl with pink hair. She's my friend, I can feel it, but I know I have never seen her before. We're all at school when it floods. There are no platforms we can jump on, and if we are to survive, we must swim from little standing-space, to standing-space. I am asked by a man if I'd like to be carried on his back. He tells me he has enough strength to bring us both to safety, but that means leaving the girl and my foster sisters behind. I decline his offer, and check to see if all the other girls are ready to swim. The girl with the pink hair holds onto my arm for what seems to be dear-life as we ascend into the water. When we hit the first platform, I help her and my two foster siblings up onto the clear, waterless area. The pink haired girl had somehow managed to hurt herself while we were swimming, so I end up staying with her to bandage her wound - the others went on. When her wound was wrapped in some of my ripped fabric, we were off once more. When we got to the final platform, the pink haired girl told me something I can't remember before kissing me and pushing me into the water. When I opened my eyes, I was still dreaming - but I was back in the foster house, explaining my story to the girls. Neither of them believed me, and that was when I woke up.

Review or whatever if you'd like.

Also, if you'd like to evaluate my dreams and tell me what the hell they mean, that would be nice too ~

But yea (:

Ooooo! I like analyzing dreams. :) So, I'll do that.

Just as a FYI! From what it seems like, your dreams indicate that you have something about you that is self-destructive. I'm not sure what it is... who knows! Maybe I am completely off target. In any case, I don't want to condemn you or anything. This is just what your dreams seem like to me.

#1

By you running, it indicates that you're trying to run from something. In your particular dream, you don't particularly mention anything that's chasing you, so that's not necessarily the issue, but generally when we run, we have some sort of destination that we want to go to. You don't have a destination to go to, but you are running anyway and trying to find it, whatever it is, and you haven't found it yet. By tripping on "something" you recognize that something is impeding you from reaching to your destination, however, you either don't know what it is, or are unwilling to admit the obstacle exists in the first place, or it may even be a combination of the two. It would be the first if you're going through a hard time in your life that is outside of your control... I am having similar dreams related to job-hunting now, actually, though it could be because of a death in the family, divorce being sexually abused, being physically abused, being part of a foster home, or something. It would be the latter if what you're doing something that is keeping you from achieving your potential, such as drugs, alcohol, not studying, cutting, or other destructive behavior. This obstacle "kills" you figuratively so that your world that you knew disappears and you have arrived to nothingness. The tap of the shoulder is something like a reality check that forces you to be with people. Before, you are alone and in nature. The thing that saves you from falling is a person's presence. So, you need people to save yourself from whatever the obstacle is and to lead you back to reality.

#2

The little girl might be you, actually, in a form of loss innocence. It may also be someone that you've known that has gone from your life, a friend, maybe, by death, moving, whatever. You still love whatever that it is, be it lost innocence or friendship, but it's gone. By crying, the little girl is indicating that she is also devastated by the loss. By you trying to comfort the girl, you signal that you miss it too, but you are not sure what this loss is because you're not specific in your comforting and say a generic "it'll be okay" bit. By disappearing, you are discomfited because you realize it's gone forever, though you don't know what it was in the first place.

#3

Again, your dream is stating that you rely on people to save you. With people, you are okay, however as soon as the person goes, you are lost and are going to be destroyed. However, as soon as you feel the embrace again, you feel okay. Since you don't mention any feelings of abandonment (only fear) it may indicate that you separate yourself from people in order that you can indulge in destructive tendencies that they may not approve of. But, people will come to you and save you from destruction, and you trust in people.

#4

Blood is usually a sign that destruction is taking place. The fact that you didn't mind that the blood was there shows that you didn't mind the destruction. The fact that you thought you were alone also shows that you tend to be okay with destroying yourself in certain ways, perhaps with these destructive tendencies that seem to be popping up in the last couple of dreams. The only thing that you grew upset about was when you realized that because there was all this blood, it might come from someone else, and you noticed your brother was dead. This probably means that you are fearful of destroying relationships with these self-destructive tendencies and wish you were alone. As far as the zombies part, it shows that all the people are gone, and it is terrifying, because you are saved by people, and the only person that you know is in the bathroom, dead.

#5

You are in charge of helping other people and see it as your personal responsibility to save these people. Sometimes, even after saving them, you are struck with their ingratitude.

In any case! After reading your dreams, it seems like you hurt yourself somehow with self-destructive tendencies. I think your dreams are telling you that it's not good. I also think you should hang around with more people. :)

I appreciate you going through and anylyzing my dreams for me.
I think you may be partially correct in what you've observed, but there are bits and pieces that I can't admit to myself to be true.
Far too much pride, I suppose.
I have been destructive with myself for the last little while - all the while cutting people off from being around me. I never really thought about it, though. Perhaps its about high-time I did.
I wanted to ask, since I can't very much just steal your work and call it my own (Eh, I could, but I don't roll that way)
Would you mind if I copied&pasted this on a whole new page for my teacher ? He told us that he would go through and analyze our dreams for us, but maybe it would save him some work if he had another person's opionion.
I mean, I found your thoughts interesting to say the least, so he should be just about as intrigued as I am.
If you don't mind, it would be a nice addon, and you would get full credit (Eh, its not like I could say I analyzed them all by myself. Even the best of us need help ~)
& If you do allow me to use this, I will certainly give you feedback as to what my teacher found that perhaps you didn't - or if he took some of the things you've pointed out and put them into finer detail. So on so forth.

Thanks again, by the way (:

Oh, you can definitely use it! My name is Karina, by the way, just in case you don't want to say, "Snoink analyzed this for me!" in your school piece.

Dreams have a funny way of expressing things to us that we would be afraid of expressing to ourselves. Furthermore, it does so in ways that get under our skin. I hope you find strength in resolving whatever is tormenting you in your sleep. ^_^
