Lovely! I'm the same way, I'm not much for writing poetry. Prose is my thing. I see others have agreed. That's good, people can relate to your poem. People like to feel connected to a poem when they read poetry (or at least I do).

Great job being so creative in such a short little poem. :) Made me smile.

Ha ha ha ha! I love it! I am just like you, I actually hate poetry. Well, I don't mind reading it and I can even critique it. But if I were asked to write it, I might die. You did a great job on the haiku, although I had to count the syllables out just to be sure. Thanks for making my day!

Actually, the poem is a haiku, that's why the flow is a little awkward. I had a devil of a time trying to find a decent 3rd line, that was the best sounding of all of them.

Hello there Faerie!

Wow, is this poem short, but it doesn't really matter, does it? Quality is what counts, because it was cute and and funny. I felt as though I could relate to it, because after all, I suck at poetry. You got across a message in 3 lines, which not many people could do.

However, I think it would flow better if you switched the second and third lines which each other. Great job, and keep writing.

PM if you have questions.
