*This is just a silly little fanfic where I’m the main character and haunted by Mariah Carey. It’s based off the internet joke of Mariah Carey (an irl singer) “defrosting” every time it’s Christmas because people keep playing her cover of “All I want for Christmas is you”. I’m typing this in the local park, but I’m in the deep woods part of the park, like the part where they tell you to stay on the trail or else you’ll get lost. Basically, I’m in the woods right now.
It’s three am on December second, twenty-twenty five, as I type this. Snow has started to fall on the ground and my breath is coming out as nothing but a white fog. Oh yes, it’s Christmas time and like always, I can hear her voice in the back of my mind. She taunts me, she mocks me. She wants me. She wants everyone. But her hunger can never be satiated. She comes back every year to search for new people to keep as her presents. Nobody knows what happens to them, just that they’re taken.
I have tried to run from her. I hid in a pile of stockings, I pretended to be a present underneath the tree, I even made myself an igloo and hid in that for three whole days, but she always finds me. Her well-done nails have tried to snatch me a few times, but I narrowly escaped.
No more. I have to get rid of her once and for all. I know that she will be lurking in the places that have Christmas energy and this peaceful park, with the snow and the wreaths on lampposts, is certain to lure her in. With me, I have a red bag, just like Santa’s bag, but it is filled with Halloween decorations. I’m going to throw them at her and then, they will repel her away. She does not like Halloween.
I am not sure if my plan will work. She might take me, just like she takes the others. Maybe I will make her more mad. But I have to try.
Oh god. I can hear her voice, in the distance. A high, clear note, with no breaks, no cracks, no mistakes. Any birds that are here go quiet. A predator is in their midst.
Mariah Carey is here and…and all she wants for Christmas…is me.

While this is just a lil silly and goofy, and pretty good comedically, I would like to mention the tension provided from the horror aspects. Frankly, for being about MARIAH CAREY, the tension is delivered well and makes me picture her as a sort of satanic figure dedicated to hunting down those aren’t quite in the Christmas mood. Good job, and also, Mariah will never be better than Anuc.

I just couldn't stop laughing at this story, especially at the last line. This was just too funny. Even though I think it's supposed to be horror, its low-key kind of funny.

This is the part when I realized this was horror. And when I watched her music video, ''All I want for Christmas'', and read this poem, I started to get a little suspicious. And all her, ''IT'S TIME'' videos, hmmmmm. Very intresting.

We have no idea who the narrator is, or why Mariah Carey is hunting down them specifically, but we do know that they intend to stop her. I also like how you mix horror/thriller with comedy, something I see well done in a lot of your works! I really like this take on the old joke! I can't wait to see the next part.
