*This story is underneath my folder titled “Sara stuck in vampirism”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=117842&start=60. This is based off a Halloween tale from my story “31 horrendous Halloween tales”, which is under my folder titled “31 Halloween tales”. Enjoy!*

Introduction

Sara couldn’t remember the exact day that the vampire had come into town and rounded the humans up into the farmhouse. All she could remember was the fear crawling from her forehead in the form of sweat when she stepped out of school only for a dark shadow to snatch her up and carry her to a farmhouse.

She could not break away from the rusted iron shackles and tried to pry away from them, but they kept her firmly in place, she had to give her blood to the vampire.

But maybe, Sara could get out. One day.

She wasn’t going to give up as long as she remembered the sun on her face, the calmness of home and the ordinary.

Chapter One

Sara stood in the cramped room, the dim light hanging over her, the iron shackles heavy on her wrists. All of the other people were pressed against her and she could hardly see anything. She smelled the thick scent of blood and the scratchy, itchy scent of wood. She didn’t know if she’d ever be able to escape, but sometimes, she’d imagine that she got out, that she was safe, and then-

Sara could feel the shackles slip off of her, as though that were all it needed to do.

She could see the heads turn towards her at the sound of the shackles jingling and jangling off of her, she could feel bewilderment and fear creep up inside of her.

What had just happened? Was it real or a trick by the vampire?

Chapter Two

There wasn’t any time for her to stand and think. Sara walked through the crowd of bodies as best as she could, promising them that she’d figure out a way to help them escape, that she was just as surprised as they were.

She knew that the farm door was locked by a key, so she slid under a crack in the farmhouse that was big enough for her to fit through, not minding the rocks that grazed her skin or the mud that stained her clothes.

When Sara got out, the sun was blinding her eyes, and she knew not of what to do next.

Chapter Three

Should she look for the vampire? Should she go home? Or should she try to find what saved her? Sara didn’t have an exact idea, but she was glad not to be cramped, glad to breathe freely.

“You were lucky enough to be right where I was. Go out to the mall and I will be waiting.” A faraway, twisting voice said. The voice was wheezy and wispy, that of a woman’s, speaking in a sweet, soft tone.

Lucky enough to be where the woman was? What did the woman’s voice mean? Did Sara just happen to be near her? Was the woman the one who saved her?

Sara began to head out to the mall, fear trickling inside of her, but slightly curious as to what the woman would tell her, and hoping to have some real answers.

Chapter Four

After a while, Sara had made it to the mall, the mainstream pop music still playing on speakers, all crackly and distorted, as though it belonged in an alternate dimension. Various furniture was overturned and money from broken cash registers littered the ground.

But at the center of it all stood a woman with pale purple skin, her eyes glowing a light blue.

And in her hands, there was a bouquet of pink and white roses, sparkling with raindrops and the vibrancy of spring.

Chapter Five

“I am Princess Starstruck of the innermost imaginations. Where there is good, there is evil, and I have come to save you and the other humans. Come and take my flowers, then put them next to the shackles. After that, they shall be free. Don’t worry, they’ll multiply in your hands, and I will fight the vampire.” The woman-Princess Starstruck-beamed, her pink lace dress floating around her as though it would carry her high into the sky.

Sara couldn’t believe her very eyes, that Princess Starstruck was right in front of her, that there was a real magical Princess who wanted to help. In fact, she was skeptical to believe that the Princess genuinely wanted to help and wasn’t an entity trying to trick her, but still, Sara approached Princess Starstruck and took the flowers, inclined to hold onto the flickering hope deep inside of her.

As soon as Sara took the flowers, Princess Starstruck began to dissipate into pink-purple sparkling lights, flying high towards the ceiling.

But the flowers, seeming to change in color with the damaged, on-and-off again fluorescent lights, with sparkles captured in their petals, stayed in Sara’s hands, as solid and tangible as ever.

Chapter Six

Sara then walked out the mall with her flowers, but she should have known to be cautious, for the world had begun get a dark tint and she heard a voice screech out:

“What do YOU think you’re doing with those flowers?!”

Something shot out of the sky in a pale white blur, all too fast for Sara to see properly, but giving a trickle of fear down her spine all the same.

Chapter Seven

For what formed out of the white blur was the spindly pale vampire with long, scraggly black hair, his aquamarine snake eyes boring straight into Sara’s soul.

“Don’t you know that I always have eyes on everyone in this town?” Meshach asked, his words seeming to twist and turn throughout the very air that Sara breathed.

Speaking of breathing, how were Sara and the others still alive? Was Meshach keeping them alive for his entertainment or did he not just know how to kill them?

Did he want them to suffer forever?

Chapter Eight

“We vampires shall be in the shadows no longer! We’ve lived in darkness for so long, but now, we will come out and rebuild this world, starting by eradicating your kind!” Meshach shrieked, his eyes white with fury.

The anger of Meshach was so frighteningly shocking that Sara could feel laughter mixed with tears bubbling out of her, but she snapped:

“You think that killing us will somehow make your situation better? And where are all these “other vampires”? I only see you.”

Chapter Nine

“Oh no, I don’t think that it will fix everything. I just want to see the streets run red with your blood. As for the other vampires? They’re everywhere, all among us, living as though they were humans in the daylight. I’m going to make it all prettier.” Meshach grinned, his voice near a cackle.

She took off running, unsure if she’d be able to make it far, because what if Meshach caught her? What if he managed to trap her in a place that was even more secure than the farmhouse?

Either way, she didn’t stop. It was better for her to keep going than to give up at all.

Chapter Ten

“I was turned into a vampire at the age of twenty-three, by a man whom had glittering eyes and sweeping hair like you have never seen before, the picture of beauty that only one can dream of having, and he, he told me that was beautiful! I was a foolish human who had fallen for it!”

Sara ran faster towards the farmhouse, partly because she didn’t want to run out of time, and partly because she wasn’t interested in hearing Meshach’s backstory or where it would lead off to.

“Humans are better off dead or as vampires! We have enough vampires, so you need to die!”

Not on her watch.

 Chapter Eleven

Once she was at the farmhouse, she opened the door and threw the flower petals towards the others who were trapped, not certain if they would do anything at all or if that was even what she was supposed to do, but still, it felt right to Sara, so she did it anyway.

Her vision had been awash with sparkling colors of pastel blues and purples, then, she heard chains slipping off, then-

Something snatched Sara away.

Chapter Twelve

It was just a regular day of leaving school. The sky was in the dim blue afternoon color and Sara was heading towards home. Home wasn’t that far, but what was that? Spilling from the sky?

The black smoke from the sky? What was it? Everyone had stopped to look at it and the smoke just kept growing…growing…blooming like a poisonous flower…

“Sara, I will not let you go. You know that, right? There’s nothing you can do to keep me down.”

Chapter Thirteen

“You are what will bring the vampires fresh, pure blood. It starts with you, because you are a very, very pure soul.” Meshach hissed.

In any other circumstances, Sara would have found those words to be endearing, but as she was being dragged away by Meshach, all she wanted to do was find something that would get him to keep quiet, that would stop him from hissing, that would-

What was that, glittering in her right hand?

Chapter Fourteen

It appeared that there were sparkling roses in her hand, just like from before and in the back of her mind, Sara suddenly recalled a day from her childhood so vividly, so alive, that it was if she had been living the moment all over again.

Playing with plastic dolls all by herself, the sunlight streaming in through her bedroom window, picture books strewn carelessly around her with the plastic tea sets, dreaming of a day she’d play with other girls her age.

There was one doll that Sara loved the most. A Princess who had glitter in her hair and in her dress that was so wonderfully detailed. A Princess who looked like she came straight from the stars.

The name on her box, when Sara first got her, had read as:

Princess Starstruck. So…was Princess Starstruck always there?

Chapter Fifteen

Meshach’s nails dug deeper into her skin. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw glitter began to form into a silhouette, a woman’s silhouette, a woman with curling, flowing hair and the eyes of someone who cared.

Someone who cared all throughout Sara’s life, someone who was always there for her,  someone whom Sara felt that she herself made real.

Meshach was drawing blood from her, but at least the Princess had come!

Chapter Sixteen

“You’ll stop sucking her blood if you know what’s good for you.” Princess Starstruck seethed, her eyes blazing with starlit fury.

Meshach did not respond, he just bit harder into Sara’s neck, who tried to throw the flowers at him, but the flowers only dissolved into thin air all around them. Were the flowers supposed to help? They helped before, but would they do anything to defeat Meshach? Maybe they could have, if she threw them at him in the right direction.

Glitter simmered out of Princess Starstruck and swam through the cracks in the cement, right towards Meshach.

Chapter Seventeen

Meshach screeched and let go of Sara, blood dripping from her neck as she turned around and watched as the glitter traveled up his body and began to burn him.

As much as her heart wanted to believe that Meshach was going to burn into nothingness, she thought that really, it would be far too good to be true.

And still, how did Princess Starstruck come to be?

Chapter Eighteen

Sure enough, Meshach still stood. There were burned bruises on his body, he was limping a bit, but he was not yet defeated.

“My power alone is not enough to defeat him. We have to work together.”  Princess Starstruck said.

Sara turned around to face the Princess, who had her glowing hand extended towards Sara. Work together? Would she and the Princess really be enough to defeat Meshach?

Sara had no idea where the other humans were or how off they were faring, but it wouldn’t hurt to try Princess Starstruck’s way, wouldn’t it? Something was better than nothing.

Chapter Nineteen

“That’s right. Take my hand and together, he will burn.” Princess Starstruck beamed.

Sara was walking closer to Princess Starstruck, she didn’t want to give up and so, she took the Princess’ hand.

There was a sense of familiarity, a sense of calmness, when she held the hand of a Princess, knowing that things might have been just a little bit better with her around.

Chapter Twenty

“Focus on all the things in life that bring you joy.” Princess Starstruck beamed.

Joy? Well, it wasn’t like Sara really had time for any joy, with everything that was going on, but she didn’t want Meshach and the other vampires to get any closer, so she reached deep, deep into her mind and thought of:

Her childhood, a time spent with many plastic dolls and sparkling Princess dresses, a childhood that may have looked strange and sad to others since she had no one but her dolls, yet beautiful all the same, because everything happened exactly as Sara wanted it, her “lonely” playtime days.

Chapter Twenty-One

Meshach looked like he was going to cry, but still, there was hate in his eyes. A vampire with long, black hair nearly covering his face joined Meshach, his gray suit reflecting off the sun’s rays.

Sara could see the ground glitter with shimmering veins, towards Meshach and the other vampire guy, but also, she could see how the other vampire seemed to move like a shadow, just as how he was dressed.

And in the distance, she could hear the vampires sucking the blood of the humans she had let out, the screams joining in the symphony of tearing flesh.

Chapter Twenty-Two

“I know that you’re scared, but you have to trust me. You have to trust THIS. You drew me on a paper unlike any other.”

Those were the words that Princess Starstruck said to Sara, but what did she mean by it? There were people dying, how could they possibly save them all?

The vampire in the gray suit smiled under the sheath of his long, black hair, resting an arm on Meshach carelessly, as if he were a wispy ghost who liked hanging onto Meshach.

Chapter Twenty-Three

Sara remembered drawing a picture of Princess Starstruck on a piece of pink glitter paper that she got as a gift on her sixth birthday party, but it was a vague, fuzzy memory and she wasn’t sure how it would help.

“Sara, that magic can only work for so long. Why keep trying if you know that you’re going to fall?” The suited vampire seethed with a smile.

Maybe the paper had some importance, maybe it-Something flashed through her mind! Something she hadn’t thought to think of for years, until that very moment!

Chapter Twenty-Four

It was long after the party ended, long after everyone else had left. Sara was playing with all of her toys in the front yard when she noticed something wrapped in pink glitter amongst the grass blades.

She crawled towards the wrapped up paper and tore it up, revealing an entire sketch pad of glitter paper, all in different colors. There was no tag attached to it saying where it was from, but that didn’t matter to her. Sara got a present of cool paper to draw on!

Maybe no one gave her the gift. Maybe something else did.

Chapter Twenty-Five

So, Sara focused on that memory of the paper, kept her hands close to Princess Starstruck’s, thinking of the glitter lines amongst the pavement that swished and swirled in the cement, the lines that broke out and twirled into the air, towards Meshach and the vampire man, who seemed to be deflecting them away with their claws, even jumping away from them in the process.

They were vampires and she was just a person, but maybe, if she thought harder, if she worked harder, if she-

They ran off, but the Princess carried her towards where they were running.

Chapter Twenty-Six

It seemed like Meshach and the other vampire were running towards the edge of the universe with how fast they were running. Sara could feel the leftover weight of the chains crushing into her body as Meshach came to drain her blood, as she wondered how she would ever be able to defeat him and-

“Why are you all so glum? Humans are animals too, you know. We all are.”

Sara held on tight to Princess Starstruck, feeling a bit of the Princess’ light settling into her skin, making her more alive.

Chapter Twenty-Seven

“Why are you doing this? Why are you keeping me alive?” Sara asked as they ran, for she was grateful for what Princess Starstruck was doing, but she was just a person and the Princess was a magical being, so why would she continuously help Sara?

“Because we can use all the magic in the world, but it’s nothing without the human who created me.” Princess Starstruck said, a hint of annoyance in her flowing, flowery voice.

“We? Whose-“

Before Sara could finish her sentence, the ground shook for about five seconds beneath and a burst of pastel purple rained down from the dim-pink evening sky.

Chapter Twenty-Eight

“I can’t always come and make everyone’s lives magical, but I wanted to see you smile.” A woman’s hushed, fuzzy voice echoed all around them, like a disconnected dream.

Sara watched as a ball of purple light slid from the sky as a large-eyed woman who hunched over a bit, her long dress skirts swaying all around her like ripples of waves, just like her waist-length, frizzy hair.

“It was I, Solara, who gave you the paper pad and it is I who will help you win this.”

Chapter Twenty-Nine

Solara walked up to Sara and reached out a purple hand towards her. Sara accepted it, all while she was still being held by Princess Starstruck, doing exactly as the Princess said, to hope and dream about all the good things of her childhood, all of the magic that would come with it.

She felt her eyes close and she heard what sounded like glitter rain down all around her. All Sara ever wanted was to not be trapped in a cramped far, to not die, to not be alone and forgotten.

Her parents were somewhere in the farm and yet she couldn’t tell with the mass of bodies. But she might have heard their voices.

They had to be in there, though. They had to be. What use was it to keep fighting if she was all alone?

Chapter Thirty

After a few minutes, Sara opened her eyes and found that there were only humans left, save for Princess Starstruck and Solara. Most humans were alive, but some lay dead on the ground, the vampires having drained away their lives.

“We came when you needed help the most and with your memories of all that is good and our magic, they are all gone.” Solara chimed.

That made the heaviness in Sara’s heart lift a bit, but still, there was one question in her mind:

“What if more vampires come?”

For certainly, they weren’t the only vampires and how could Sara guarantee that other vampires wouldn’t return to finish the job?

“They chose this town out of random to drain blood. They love to pick the most vulnerable humans in the most vulnerable town. What good things remain from people’s childhood will come to save them from the evil, just as we came for you. We cannot stop it from happening, as our powers only go so far, but we can end it.” Solara said.

Solara then smiled as she floated back up in the sky, Princess Starstruck kissed Sara’s forehead just as her parents used to do when she was little every night, and then, Sara was set down on the ground.

Princess Starstruck faded away, phantom images of glitter flowers remaining until they too were gone and then, Sara was left alone with the humans.

Tired, worn, but her burdens were lighter.

Epilogue

Sara and the others in town held funerals for those that died, each and every last person alive holding a deep, deep somberness in their hearts.

After that, the community cleaned the farmhouse of all the blood, all the suffering. Everyone agreed that they would all work together to fix up the damage in their town, day by day.

Sara’s parents were alive and well, the three of them returned home all in one piece.

And since it was all over, nobody ever wanted to speak about the strange, unsettling events that would shake them even in their deepest of sleep, for with events like that, it never really ended.

It just stayed in their hearts, clinging to them like dead weight.

Hi again Creeper!!

I agree with Tikaya below that this feels a little rushed, with many short chapters that could have easily been a few longer ones, but the story itself was great as always!

This is basically a fairy tale mixed with a vampire story. Sara's imaginary friend/doll is made real by Solara, and this seems to be the most interesting part of the piece, for me at least! It gives a new light to the trope of childhood magic saving the day. It's moved you away from the danger of falling into a generic trope, and opened up a world with proper mechanics. Princess Starstruck exists because Sara loved her a lot, and she, in turn, needs Sara's memories as fuel to exist. It's a nice twist on the 'believe in yourself' ideology we usually see in stories with magic. Meshach's dialogue was a highlight, bringing some menace to the story. The childhood-memory flashback in chapter 23/24 is really well paced and does a good job of holding back the reveal of who gave the gift long enough to build curiosity. You then answer this very cleanly in chapter 28. I think Princess Starstruck's introduction reads more like a toy-commercial script than dialogue a character might have, with a lot of exposition. Consider chopping it up a little and having it interspersed with some action or description!

Great work <3

Hi Creeper! Here for another review!

This story really intrigued me in that you blended some unexpected elements together like the Princess Power Girl and the Magical Lady from Space and vampires!

I liked the way you set the scene with the barn full of people shackled up - that was spooky and showed the stakes right away! I was super confused when the shackled just randomly fell off - but you explained that it was the flowers that had quietly done that.

But at the center of it all stood a woman with pale purple skin, her eyes glowing a light blue.

And in her hands, there was a bouquet of pink and white roses, sparkling with raindrops and the vibrancy of spring.

Lovely and vivid description here of the Princess (who had a bit of Princess Peach vibes) and the magical flower boquet.

I felt like while Sara was running away from the vampire it was a little hard actually to know whether she was saying some of things outloud, or to the vampire... like this part -

“I was turned into a vampire at the age of twenty-three, by a man whom had glittering eyes and sweeping hair like you have never seen before, the picture of beauty that only one can dream of having, and he, he told me that I was beautiful! I was a foolish human who had fallen for it!”

I love that the Princess ended up being a connection to a childhood toy that Sara had played with, that was quite an interesting twist ... Did Sara recognize the princess as being like the childhood toy right away or not really? Either way, the idea of something good and pure from childhood coming to save them as they grow up was an interesting idea to include and worked with the world you set up.

I had a little bit of difficulty exactly following who / what Solara was - but understood she was good and had came to help Sara defeat the vampire. It was heartwarming when they finally were able to destroy the vampires in the end! I'm glad that this story had a happy ending!

Solara then smiled as she floated back up in the sky, Princess Starstruck kissed Sara’s forehead just as her parents used to do when she was little every night, and then, Sara was set down on the ground.

This was a perfect sweet moment to include for a character-driven story, these sweet little moments feel very fulfilling for a reader to get to. Glad that the Princess didn't just fade into the dark without saying goodbye first. In contrast...

Sara’s parents were alive and well, the three of them returned home all in one piece.

I would love to see just a few more sentences about the reunion and what that meant! After such a tense read, it's okay to draw out those moments of victory at the end for the reader as I'm left with many questions - where had the parents been? what was their reaction? did everyone know it was Sara that saved the day?

Overall I loved that this story had a happy ending, even if it left room for the vampires to return in a spooky sequel... Good story creeper!

The parents were also trapped. Thx for reading and I’m glad you liked it!

Good morning, dear writer! Today, we chickens, for our longest dream of clearing the Green Room and dethroning the Golden Goose to finally sit on it ourselves, bring to you-

The Chicken Sandwich

Top Bun: First impressions
I had a great time reading this story! It took a much different turn then I was expecting at the beginning. When it started off, I was expecting maybe something bigger or rivaling to counter the vampires, maybe something that started off small in the farmhouse with Sara. Right off the bat, it was clear that something magical was going on that freed her from her shackles and it was very interesting to see that Sara herself also considered that the mysterious woman in the first few chapters could be dangerous or trying to trick her. I was very happy to see how happily the story played out while still carrying the solemn reality of the lives lost and the hardships that had been lived through. Throughout this story, I greatly enjoyed seeing the balance of those two themes play out!

Slightly Wilted Lettuce: Critiques
Throughout this story I noticed a couple things to critique on! Overall though, there weren't a ton of grammatical errors and the story flowed well!
One critique I had was from chapter 5 where Princess Starstruck speaks to Sara:
Where there is good, there is evil,

I feel the words with this statement could have been switched around for example "where there is evil, there is good." An also also helps the flow of the statement better if you choose to add it. However, I realized as I was writing this that this could of also had a bit of a darker hidden meaning to it, leading my mind to wonder if the Princess and the Vampires have some sort of connection.
Another critique I had that I noticed throughout the story was the use of hyphens where an em dash would have been more appropriate and easier to read. A part from chapter 5 is a great example of this:
The woman-Princess Starstruck-beamed,

The use of hyphens here made it a little hard to read as hyphens are typically used to shorted words and put them together such as "end-of-month" whereas here they are used as a sort of interruption. For example "the woman— Princess Starstruck— beamed." However, if em dashes aren't really your thing, using a hyphen followed by a space or even a comma would also do in its place.
In total though, these are only minor grammatical errors and not too much to worry about so anything here can be taken with a grain of salt. It's up to you as a writer if they are helpful to you so feel free to take what you think is helpful and leave the rest!

Crispy Chicken: Favorite details
Some of my favorite details in this story was how much detail you put into things! It helped really set the scene and display the differences between the shimmery hopeful Princess Starstruck as well as the hope carried inside Sara herself and the dirty and dark reality of the truth such as the dirty farmhouse and the scent of wood and blood. I thrive whenever there is details in a story as it helps me picture what is going on better so I really love how much you put in here. I was able to visualize Princess Starstruck herself and one of my favorite scenes showing the comparison of hope and tragedy was this scene right here in chapter 4!

Bottom Bun: Closing thoughts
In all, a couple last thoughts I had as I was finishing up writing this was that I greatly enjoyed how all of the shorter chapters of this story where put together into one short story! This made it easy to read as there was enough here to critique and sit down to read but also easy to edit and review as I was able to go chapter by chapter! I loved reading this story and seeing the two contrasting themes in it! It felt very refreshing and not what I expected at first but I was very happy to see the conclusion come together with both hope and solemnity!

We hope this was helpful! Farewell now, we've got a Review Day to win!!

Morning creeper, you put a couple of pretty long chapters into the Green Room. Let’s go through them.
(Edit: I started this in the morning but then work happened so I will continue now)

Ohh and is Sara a witch that works by focusing hard on intent?

Hmm I wish we would get a clearer picture on why Sara isn’t helping the others right now. Like a description on just how exactly everyone is shackled? Like… I guess the iron manacles are too heavy to break but maybe now that she is free, she has could get a clearer picture? You said while she was trapped there it was hard to get an overview of the room, right?

Ohhh never mind. Okay, theory time. So “right where I was” hmm first thought: parallel universes and a ghost switched universes, landed on Sara’s spot and freed her just with her arrival. Second idea: passing through benevolent witch. But then… what does it mean that she says “right where I was” ohh idk but I wanna find out!

Ok the first two questions were solid but this one here: “Did Sara just happen to be near her?” drops back into “character repeats exactly what came before” which I already said is… a quirk of your writing that I don’t rly like. Also it doesn’t really add anything bc so many others technically also were “near” whatever since you described the room as packed.

Hmmm okay so Mrs Sparkles just chose one of the trapped humas and she rly was just passing through. I do wonder why Sara needed to go to the mall first tho (afraid mb that the vampire could detect her?). And also why she isn’t trying to find someone else to just brute force the shackles the others are trapped by (Also certainly a character note that her first thought had been to simply go home xd Understandable ofc, being trapped forever in such a horrible condition but also she promised the others to help them and her next thought is “but what if I don’t?” XD)

I love this description: “seeming to change in color with the damaged, on-and-off again fluorescent lights”

Uhm… okay. I overflow with questions. Why did the vampire wait until she met the princess to reveal himself when he is always watching? (take note, Sara, his vision has gaping, exploitable holes!) How are Sara and the other prisoners kept alive? Is Meshach feeding them? And if not, why is she only NOW when she is out wondering abt this. In general, why is she wondering abt this NOW? She had all of her captivity for that, right now, I feel like she should be wondering abt how he found her so quickly and if she can get away? Or why he didn’t immediately seize her?

I feel like the flowers maybe repel vampires and Meshach didn’t want to admit that so he let her go XD

Oh no… I feel like I know where this is going. Theory time number 2: either she’s turned into a vampire now when he catches her or he’ll kill her and she’s gonna become a sad ghost. In either case, the flowers will work and the other prisoners are gonna be freed!

Hmmmmmmmm Meshach’s next words lend credit to theory A, vampire time. But then again, would she still be ~pure~ as a vampire? I guess he wants to keep her forever instead….

Ohh I like the consistency: “the flowers will multiply in your hands” and they do! That’s why even when she threw them away, she still has more to give!

Hmmm did she create princess starstruck with her child-like devotion to her toy, or is it after all a parallel universe sitch where it just happens to be similar to her toy or maybe… the similar toy and her love for the doll made the real princess come to her aide? (But then again, the princess didn’t come specifically to save her, at least not according to her own words…)

“everything happened exactly as Sara wanted it” the witch theory intensifies….

Uh where did he come from? “A vampire with long, black hair nearly covering his face joined Meshach” He just…. Appeared out of thin air? No description at all?

Oh I love this sentiment: “What good things remain from people’s childhood will come to save them from the evil, just as we came for you.”

I like the story. Tho I feel like a lot of the concepts are a bit too rushed to enjoy it fully. I was lacking descriptions and character motivations, mainly. I love the explanation for the magic tho! Very cool!

The other vampire turned Meshach. Sara is a kind of witch%u2026but freedom was only offered to her then.

Thx for reading!

I think that was when I began to realize that reputation isn't everything. I should focus less about how others perceive me and more about what makes me happy. Because, in the end, I have to live with myself.
