A Bard's Tale

Long long ago
There was a man,
Whose stories were told,
To make barbarians shiver with cold.

Oh the Black Bard,
Oh the Black Bard,
Who once sang for the old gods,
Was now a warrior of The Pack.

Through this cranky tavern, he passed by
Leaving us all amazed
With words of might,
Oh boy were we afraid.

Oh the Black Bard,
Oh the Black Bard,
Warrior, singer
And ladies man.

Pitch black hood covered his head,
Blue eyes fueled with life experiences,
His years could be seen within his beard.
How petty felt our existences.

Oh the Black Bard,
Oh the Black Bard,
Counting of full inventories,
We all agreed he entered our hearts.

But just like he came,
As the wind he left,
And that is the story,
He left us to tell.

Hi Zackymas, Felistia here with a review for you on this wonderful day. :D

Theme: I really like the theme you have in here. As I said in my last review, I really like the medieval gothic feel you put in your poems and this one did not disappoint. At first I thought it was going to be a bit of a mushy poem, but it turned out to be a very mysterious poem. :D

Rhythm: I loved the rhythm in this poem, so much that I ended up singing it out loud. The repeat of

Oh the Black Bard,
Oh the Black Bard,
really helped with the rhythm. There are a few places where you had some rhymes, but I don't think they where intentional, because they were all over the place. Anyway I thought your rhythm was great

Description: The description in your poem was okay as there wasn't much of it, but I don't think you need anymore than you already have. :D

Title: The one little nit-pick I have is the title. A Bard's Tale is a bit of a clichéd title. I think that maybe something like The Black Bard would work better. :D

Grammar and Punctuation: I couldn't find any problems here. :D

Overall it was a great poem and I look forward to the next one. Never stop writing and I hope you have a great day\night. :D

Your friend, Felistia. :D

P.S sorry about the short review. I couldn't find anything really wrong. :D

King Here
Hello there. I really interesting short story about a mysterious man who they are singing about.
I like the description around the man and the simple ways he is described.
With the 'On the Black Bard' part that is repeating several times, it felt like it is a real song that you can sing out loud. The end is not a cliche is finishing it balancely with a hint of mystery. He came and left, who knows where he is now.
i think the tittle is suitable for the main idea of this work. Sorry for the pretty short review that I am giving you here.

Through this cranky tavern, he passed by

I think you do not need the comma here. At least I do not pause there in the middle of the sentence but this is still the writer's choice to edit this or no.
I do not find the punctuation or capitalization as a problem here because it is poetry generally.

Oh boy were we afraid.

If this is a question, you could put the question mark at the end.
I think you can put a comma before 'were'. But I just read it this way.

Overall, good job and keep on writing.

Hi, it's Sayantan4119 to say something ,

It was a nice piece of poem with all the fantastic effects produced by the simple words.
it was also like a hero come and saved the world and returned back.

Always keep in mind ,
A different thought.
Not always lengthy.
Simple words to produce effects.

You wrote it nice which I should admit and you could express your poetic style nicely. It is awesome.

Heya, Zackymas!!

This is Eros here to review this beautiful piece of poetry!!

Let us begin the review by commenting on the title. The title, " A Bard's Tale " is attractive, catchy, and captivating. These are the characteristics of a good title.

The next thing which comes is the theme and the main idea which forms the basis of the poem. I really liked this theme. It was unique, and very beautiful.

Then, the thing which is most important is the choice of set of the words. I liked your choice of set of the words. They are simple, yet beautiful.

Then, what I liked the most about this beautiful poem:

1) The language is easy to understand, and fluent.
2) The presentation of the poem.
3) The way you have presented your thoughts in a poetic style.
4) Your style of writing.
5) The poem flows very well.
6) The lyrics of the poem.
7) The sweet meaning of the poem.

Now, I would like to end up my review with these lines:
This was an AWESOME work. Really, really SUPERB!!
Keep writing...
Never cease...
Because we all love to keep reading such amazing works!!
Have a Great day/ evening!!
