In Childhood Sweetheart

Loud crashes resounded through the vehicle as the car stopped before the front door. I looked worriedly towards Antonio who was looking at Tracy. They knew what the cause of the crash was and they were worried about what happened to whatever it was. Another crash and we were out the car in a flash. The door slammed against the wall with the force with which Antonio opened it. All three of us froze as we looked at the scene.

There stood in the middle of the room, a boy just around my age. In his left hand was a bottle of vodka, his right one bled as he clenched it into a fist. Broken frames and glass littered the living room floor, the sofa set upturned and dismantled. Furious jade eyes looked back at my chocolate ones and I could see the hurt in those green pools. There was so much pain; I wanted to relieve him of it. Our gazes broke when he crumbled to the ground sobbing. I moved to help him but was stopped by Antonio’s arm. I looked at him questioningly.

“You’ll get hurt,” he shook his head.

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing,” I soothed. He relented but warned me.

“Just please, be careful?” he asked. He sighed at my nod.

“Sean?” I called to the weeping man.  “What’s wrong?” I asked as I started to walk towards him. “Is it something I can help with?” I asked.

“Stay away from me!” he snarled, his green eyes shining with ferocity.

“Maybe I can help?” I suggested.

“Help; no one can help me,” he said bitterly. I continued my advance.

“Tell me about it,” I said. “It helps if you talk about it with someone,” I continued.

“I said stay the hell away from me!” he screamed and yet I continued. His patience snapped and he lunged at me. My breath came out in a single ‘whoosh’ of air as my back slammed against the wall.

His body pinned me against the wall, his arms on either side of my head. His eyes searched mine for lies and deception and visibly relaxed when he saw nothing but genuine concern.

As I looked at him I realized I knew him personally. To me, he was more than someone Antonio knew. I was closer to the boy trapping me against the wall than my own best friend.

His alcohol-fogged brain finally caught up to the recent events and his lips turned up into a predatory smile as he realized the position we were in. His eyes raked my face then he smirked once more before he bent his head down to capture my lips in a rough kiss.

His lips ravaged mine desperately looking for something, something he had cherished and lost. I couldn’t fight back lest he became more aggressive so I did what I could. I put all the emotion I could muster into the kiss as I responded to him. His kiss grew gentle as I kissed back, slowly wrapping my arms around his neck. His hands stroked up and down my sides until they settled snugly on my hips. He pulled me flush against his body so that I could feel him poking my stomach but I ignored it.

We finally pulled away for much needed oxygen. My eyes fluttered open only to be trapped in his hungry gaze. His eyes searched mine, staring at me intently until it seemed as if he found what he was looking for. He smiled a gentle smile as he looked at me but it turned to a frown when he saw my bruised lips.

He kissed my cheek, and then continued on lower to my neck. His lips left a fiery trail on my skin as they moved upwards until they reached my ear.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered then he nibbled on my lobe. I couldn’t control the guttural moan that followed as he licked my ear lobe. “I’ll make it up to you,” he promised; his voice husky with desire.

I smiled seductively at him; inviting his hormone-raged brain to do as he pleased. It was an invitation he was quick to accept. He pushed me up against the wall as he kissed me. His hands left their place on my hips to grasp at the back of my thighs as he urged me to wrap my legs around his waist. He hoisted me higher against the wall once my legs were secure around him. I could feel his throbbing erection at my feminine core and combined with the heat he radiated, it was sensuous. I moaned into the kiss as he ground his hips against mine. I was shocked at my own desire but I couldn’t stop to think on it as his lips found the pulse point on my neck. He nibbled on it, greedily marking me as his.

“Why don’t we continue this in your bedroom?” I purred into his ear. He growled loudly at that but yielded to my request.

He picked me up bridal style then turned towards the stairs eyeing my body as he climbed, obviously liking what he saw. I locked gazes with Antonio as we ascended the stairs; my message was passed on as Sean continued up the stairs.

Sean fumbled with the doorknob for a few seconds before it finally yielded to his touch. He couldn’t wait for the bed; he pushed me against the door as soon as he had it closed. He looked at me his eyes clouded with desire as his lips descended upon mine. His touch ignited flames upon my skin, his fingers roamed my body leaving burning embers in their wake. His hands crawled inside my blouse creating a whirlwind of sensations. I never noticed when he had moved us to the bed but the next thing I knew he was palming my breasts through my bra. I was lost in the sensations he was making but I was woken by the impatient growl he released. I buried my fingers in his hair; the long appendages searching nimbly for the spot I knew would make him crumble. I pressed as lightly as I could so as not to hurt him and he passed out on top of me.

I panted underneath his heavy body, unable to move or do anything. I was too emotionally and physically tired from what happened and I was also so confused.

“Anne, are you alright?” Antonio’s frantic voice came from the other side of the door. I heard him shake the knob then curse when the door wouldn’t open.

“She’s going to be fine,” I heard Tracy’s voice. She was trying to soothe him but I knew he wouldn’t believe it until he saw me. “She’s obviously a fighter. Besides, she wouldn’t have let him do something she didn’t want,” Tracy continued.

I heard the jangle of keys and breathed a sigh of relief as the door opened. It revealed a frustrated Antonio and Tracy who looked slightly amused at her boyfriend’s antics and yet, jealous at the same time.

‘He really has to tell her how we met,’ I thought.

“Analyn! Are you alright?” he asked as he saw the position I was in; trapped underneath Sean’s heavy body.

“I’m fine,” I said weakly. “But, he’s heavy and I don’t have the strength to move him away,” I said just as Sean rolled off of me. But he didn’t let me go. Instead, he pulled me to his side and embraced me intimately.

“That is so sweet,” Tracy said at the foot of the bed.

“Yes, it is but you guys better get me out of here before he does something that will embarrass all of us,” I said.

“He can’t do anything,” Tracy retorted. “Not when he’s asleep.”

“You have no idea what he’s going to do,” I muttered. I could feel his entire length against my thigh as I answered Tracy. ”If you only knew how much I wanted him to continue,” I thought to myself as I watched Tracy giggle nervously and Antonio rake a hand through his blonde hair.

“Come on, let’s get you up,” he said. He held out a hand for me.

“I can’t move,” I told him.

“Wait a sec,” Tracy said then bent down to retrieve something from the floor. She straightened up and held out a large, fluffy pillow that was roughly my size.

“Smart!” I complimented. She gave me a shy smile in return.

I tried to move away from Sean’s body to give the pillow some space to go through but his grip tightened. I could barely twist in his embrace. I moved as far as possible from him then Antonio slipped the pillow through. I rolled away from him and lay face down on the bed. Antonio flipped me over before giving me that ‘I-know-something-you-don’t-want-me-to-know’ smirk of his. I glared at him but he continued to smile knowingly at me.

I got up and we all froze as three things happened all at once. My skirt fell off my waist, my blouse fell open and I felt my bra loosen around my chest. Antonio snickered, Tracy blushed and I ran a tired hand through my hair as I released an annoyed sigh.

“Tony, hook me up would you?” I asked Antonio as I turned around to fix my blouse. He paled but did as I asked. Tracy looked from one to the other in confusion.

“What is going on?” she finally asked just as I finished buttoning my blouse. I turned to find that she was looking at both Antonio and I accusingly.

“You need to tell her how we met,” I told my best friend.

“Everything?” he asked frightened.

“Everything,” I told him. He sighed deeply before turning to his significant other and leading her out of the room.

I pulled my skirt back up to my waist, secured it then lay back down on the bed. I turned to my side and watched Sean sleep.

“Do I know you?” I asked the slumbering boy. “I feel as if I know you much more than I do Tony. Why is that? And the way I responded to you; that was new. I’ve definitely never felt this way about any…” I trailed off as I remembered that one boy I could not forget; the one boy whom I loved as a child and still loved even as I grew up. “Could it really be you?” I asked him again. I caressed his face and he leaned into my touch.

“Oh my God!” I exclaimed when I saw the blood that had seeped into the pillow. “I completely forgot about his hand.” I thought to myself. “Yeah, you were too busy feeling what he was doing to you with the same injured hand,” a small voice nagged in my mind. I ignored it and set about the task of cleaning Sean’s wound and his whole body while I was at it.

It was a difficult job to do; washing Sean while he slept. His grip on the pillow was relentless and it took me a while to coax him to leave it alone. I made sure to clean his hand thoroughly to prevent infection. I picked small pieces of glass from his knuckles and even his palm. After that, it was my self-appointed task to give him a sponge bath.

My thoughts wandered to unwanted and unwelcome places while I took his shirt off. Every inch of skin removed was a skip of my heartbeat, a gasp of air, another rise of my arousal. It didn’t help that I was raised to be meticulous in any job. I was taught not to leave anything unfinished and it was that lesson that was ingrained in my mind as I contemplated whether or not to take off his pants. In the end, it was my logical side who won.

Despite the difficulties with my own dirty thoughts rampaging through my head, I was able to finish cleaning him up by forcing myself into work mode. As an aspiring doctor, I have trained myself to be emotionally separated from my patients and yet it was so hard for me to do with the particular boy, no he’s a man. Only a man would have that kind of effect on me.

Another tired sigh escaped my lips as I finished putting a shirt on his lean body. I tucked him in bed and turned to leave but once again froze. Anthony stood at the doorway with his hand in Tracy’s. They both stared at me with accusing eyes and yet they had amused smiles on their faces.

“What?”

“Oh nothing,” Anthony replied. His voice was teasing with an underlying tone in it. It only meant one thing; he knew something and he didn’t want to tell me.

“So what else do we do today?” I asked him with an eye roll. “Other than get me to meet your… weird cousin, what else have you planned?”

“Well, we can go shopping,” Tracy suggested.

“I’m sorry Tracy, I’m not really a shopper,” I apologized.

“Fine,” she huffed. “Then what are we going to do?”

“Why don’t we talk about what just happened?” Antonio asked.

“Talk about what?” I retorted. “There’s nothing to talk about.”

“Oh, but I think there is,” Antonio told me. “Or did you always respond like that to any guy who has kissed you?”

“Antonio, what do you know that I don’t?” I asked flashing him an angry glare.

“I know a juicy piece of information, which I have told Tracy, that I know you would love to get,” he said.

“I really hate you right now,” I muttered angrily.

“Awww,” he mocked. “I love you too, Anne.”

“If you won’t tell me, then don’t,” I said. “It’s not like I care.”

“Really, you don’t care?” he asked with a raised eyebrow.

“No I don’t,” I replied. “I know I’ll find out soon enough. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to change because I’m sweaty and my clothes are bloody.”

“What happened?” he asked worriedly. “Are you alright?” he walked over to me and started inspecting me for injuries.

“I’m fine,” I assured him. “The blood’s Sean’s, not mine. It was from his hand. And don’t worry; I already took care of it,” he released an audible sigh.

“That’s good and all, but what are we going to do now?” Tracy asked.

“Now I am going to change in my room while you two figure out what you want to do,” I decided for all of us and then left the couple in Sean’s room.

I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it! The characters were played out well, I'd really like to know more about this Sean guy and the secret that thing that Tony knows but that Anne doesn't. Overall, this was another great chapter. Can't wait for more.
