& On We Go

In Poems

Coliding waves crash against the coast
& little did we ever know
The cosmic cost of them doing so

With heavy hearts, we saw the the dark horizon
We heard the sea and her monstrous wail
trembling yet ready, we set sail

Steady hands make a steady ship
Onward into waters deep!
For our blind bravery, many weep

& on through dreary depths we went.
the sea, she tossed us to and fro
Spite & suffering we did undergo

Surounded by raging waters & stinging salts
Toss & Turn
Roar & Churn

The vessal snaps  & starts sinking slowly
She rumbles and roars like thunder
Swirling starts and sucks us under

she grips us tightly and we drown
Squirm and Struggle as we might
Death, shall be victor in this fight

Hi there :) Just going to do a little review here. Colliding is spelled with 2 l's.
Surrounded is 2 r's, vessel is 2 e's.

I'm having a little trouble following the random punctuation, some lines are capitalized, others not, and there are few commas or periods.

I love the theme of the ocean, the eternal struggle and battle against nature, and human trying, but failing, to conquer its random and detached harshness. Its one of my favorites in my own poetry and you have conveyed it well here. Its a great poem and thank you for writing it!
