Who is to say,
It isn't the way,
They have taught us year after year.
We question and ponder,
Our minds a’wander,
Un-held by the cold grasp of fear.
Willfully fold,
Stray not from the old.
Disregard mistakes which you should not.
Give in with ease,
It shall only appease,
He who has lied and been caught.
Sing thy song,
Denounce the wrong,
speak the voice of a bright generation.
To coincide,
With the crashing tide,
Or to fight fueled by frustration.

Awesome lyrics! I like this a lot and I love the message and the way it was delivered! I think you've done as awesome job with this poem and the fact that it rhymes so perfectly without sounding forced or just plain ridiculous is a plus for me! Nice work! You're a great poet! -Icewinifredd
Hi there! I'm Crissy! great job!
This poem flowed really well and I absolutely love love LOVE your use of vocabulary. Very good vocab choice...I can't emphasize that enough. And I also love how you used words like "thy" in your poem. It's very old fashioned and indifferent but people don't use it so much anymore and I absolutely adore when people right like that. great job! Keep writing!
This is a grate poem and i liked it very much.
I think i like the overall concept and it flows really grate although i had few places where i kinda stumbled but i guess it's from the way read it.
I like the whole format, it suits this poem. And i really love how it rimes, it's always nice to read a poem that rimes it kinda gives a good style to it.
I really liked the lines "Willfully fold,
stray not from the old." they make so much sense to me and i don't really know why, it's kinda funny like that. And the first words they just took me, they hooked me up with a real depth that i liked, they just hit me how eight small words can mean so much together but almost nothing separately "Who is to say,
It isn't the way", just like Boom.
I really liked it, i could relate to it and that made me happy.
So keep on your writing, it's good.
Good luck.

This is an interesting poem you did.
I like the format; I'm not sure what about the center format makes me like it. I guess it might just make it look more professional to me.
The way the stanzas flow is also nice. How you have two lines rhyme and then have one not. It's interesting and well done.
As for the poems meaning itself I like the theme. It sounds to me like it means that we shouldn't always go with the flow of past generations. We should try to use our imagination to change the world for the better.
I'm interested in what inspired you to write this poem. First thing that popped into my mind was like a teacher said something that made you a bit . . . upset. I don't really know though so . . . yeah.
Overall great job, I forgot to mention you didn't have any spelling or punctuation errors that I could see.
Keep up the great work!!
