Here is a surprisingly unpredictable poem on predictability.
One day I was thinking, when a very unpredictable thought came to me.
(This is predictable, as everyone thinks both predictable and unpredictable thoughts.)
“What does it mean to be predictable?”
When people claim you are predictable, I can make the prediction that you will attempt to be unpredictable to prove their prediction wrong, making you predictably unpredictable.
However, you may continue being predictably predictable, which is still unpredictable, because the person making the claim would predict you to change course.
If I tell someone that they are unpredictable, they may attempt to be predictable to be the opposite of what I predicted, but by doing that they had proved me right.
If one is predictable to be unpredictable, the prediction that they were unpredictable was proven correct, as they were being predictable to be unpredictable, therefore being predictable.
This argument is impossible to prove wrong, as I have predicted every scenario that could ever occur.
And one more thing.
This next sentence will be predictably unpredictable.
This paper is no poem, as I had caused you to predict at the beginning
And that sentence was no sentence, as I had previously caused you to predict (due to no period).
It is an unpredictable argument on predictability, obviously.
Humans are so predictably unpredictable, as well as unpredictably predictable.
Microwave.
Did you predict that?

That is clever!
Thanks! XD
Hi Nightcrawler!!!!!
This is Eros here.
Wow!!!!!!!!! Your poetry was wonderful ha!!!!
I really loved the way nd the style in which you wrote it. The topic suits the poem best.It was really a different piece. It was funn to read it. It says that Humans are unpredictable. You cannot predict what will they do at any instant of time. And that they are again unpredictably predictable because they can prove our prediction wrong.
Well..........
I got such ideas after I read your poem first and thought about it for complete six minutes.
It was little difficult to understand, but it was fine.I loved your piece. It was best and very very very different from all the stuffs that I have read.
It contains an artistic language and all the thoughts are expressed in such a beautiful manner.
Continue writing,dont stop now.....
Thank you!
This seems like a line of your thoughts, ending with a predictable unpredictable "microwave." I really want to review this, but there isn't much I have to say. You bring all together with the microwave at the end, so it's all good.
+1
Thanks, 1. I'm laughing at this old piece. I forgot it existed. XD
How predicatable xD
That response was predictable wasn't itI predicted that

a) This would have something to do with Chaos Theory or Ian Malcolm;
b) It would be a poem;
c) (five or six lines into it) I wasn't going to understand this at all.
I predicted wrong! It makes a lot of sense!
Haha thank you! *bows*
What... Ok now I am thoroughly confused...
Oooh!! I remember you telling me about this!! I haven't read it yet though... I just saw it and remembered you telling me about it. Can't wait to read it!
Predictable no longer sounds like a word...
Agreed. I confused myself a few times.
Wow! hahahahaha. This was GREAT! From the beginning I was either smiling or laughing, due to your confusingly predictable (or is it unpredictable due to you trying to be predictable when we predicted that you would be unpredictable?) anyway that doesn't really make any sense, but the point is this: the poem was very well written, and humorous. It reminded me of Jack Sparrow on Pirates of the Caribbean, talking about honest and dishonest men.
Keep it up!
Haha, thanks! Glad I could be Jack Sparrow.
Oh my gosh, I love this! I was grinning within the first few lines. It's funny and it manages to twist our minds around your little finger. Its so darned confusing that it's brilliant! It's like this amusing little rant and yet no one can make head nor tails of it by the end, and that's okay, because that's how it's supposed to be. So let me ask you a question; how DO we become unpredictable?
Impossible! I would only predict you were attempting to be unpredictable, making you unpredictably predictable!
Thanks for the predictable review! XD

Chuckles...

My mind just fried a bit.
Seriously though, this was good. I found my self nodding my head one moment in agreement before finding myself utterly flabbergasted in the next.
Predictably unpredictable, or unpredictably predictable, the great thing about this piece is that in an weird, twisted, awesome way both angles make sense.
I don't think there is really anything I could suggest that would really make this better so I will just point out a few of my favorite lines.
"It is an unpredictable argument on predictability, obviously."
*The obviously is what makes this line so good. it is like the sophisticated way of say "Duh!". So nice job there.
And then of course the second best line.
"Microwave.
Did you predict that?"
*Just straight up funny is all I can say.
Anyway good job. Keep up the writing.

Hey thanks! My friend and I argued about predictable unpredictability and we both felt our brains whirring as they tried to keep up.
Anyway, glad you liked it! Thanks again,
~GC
Oh gosh, you boggled my mind O.o
You're welcome!
That was... AWESOME!!!
Gracias!
XD, hey Griffin, Black here for a REALLY quick Review day review!
It really doesn't work too well. But you did do a quite nice job demonstrating circular logic (though you were predictably confusing in doing so -really though, it was to be predicted).
But you did a nice job showing it, either way.

Okay, so what you're using is called circular logic, going around and around because there's no solution to the whole argument at all.
Your style is good, your grammar, is good, your spelling is good . . . in other words your base skills all look to be pretty good. You use a lot of comma's, and if I just glance at this piece I get the feeling that you're just flipping a stick around and confusing yourself with your own circular logic.
For the idea I think you are, ahem, completely and utterly correct. But this piece is completely pointless because that fact is just so totally obvious there's absolutely no need to state it. You come up to a guy and say "I predict you will be unpredictable," and he can't do anything without you saying that you hadn't predicted. The reason is so simple! You didn't predict him doing anything (or not doing anything for that matter), so obviously there's nothing he can or can't do that you can or can't predict.
See how it's kind of really obvious and VERY circular. You can do that as much as you want to, but understand that it's a very obvious thing. Don't be put out by my, er, harshness, I love to write random, pointless, circular things! It's perfectly okay! There's nothing at all wrong with it . . . I just thought that you should know that it was very circular and VERY obvious.
Anyway! Nice job, good work! It was a very drawn out argument, written in a predictably predictable style, of a really obvious theme XD Therefore, it was awesome and random. Just watch yourself or you'll end up with a mess that confuses even you. Anyway, remember the most important thing: KEEP WRITING - If you keep writing then you will improve! I guarantee that, at least!
I'd be willing to bet this piece took a whole, whole, whole lot of editing and looking through to get it to an understandable form like this
~Black~
My dear Black,
Thank you for the review. Thank you... I think. I am not sure whether you hated my "obvious" theme or enjoyed it. Yes, I was aware of the circular logic going on, in fact, that was the only reason I wrote it. This piece was written for fun and yes, it took a lot of time to edit so that it was possible to understand. I know it is pointless, so... what are you trying to get me to do? Change it? Leave it? Confusion...oh well. Thanks for the review!
~GC
It's fine! If it was intentional!
I loved this! The ending actually made me laugh out loud. It's such an interesting piece and very clever. It wasn't the type of work I predicted it was going to be which I liked. I can't really think of any criticisms to make. It was short, sweet, funny and very unique. I will be fascinated to see what else you come up with so keep writing and well done on a very unpredictable first post on YWS!
I love this! Although this might be a bit confusing at times, it's very satisfying in the end when I figured what you were trying to convey.
Definitely didn't see "Microwave" coming. Nor the not-a-sentence thing. Very original, and I love it.
Very confusing. Very predictably predictable as i predicted it would be from the title. i. like. pizza. did you predict that?
Hullo!
This is definitely an original piece of literature. It was almost humorous and a brainteaser in a way too. I really enjoyed this and I'd recommend this to anyone who likes interesting reads such as this (in fact I will, ahaha). The ending was predictable (with the predictably unpredictable "sentence" and obvious fact the paper was no poem) but I didn't expect(or predict) you to say "Microwave" next. XD
Anyway, I loved this - awesome job!
Thank you! I am glad that you liked it, that was exactly what I was looking to do!
Yes, please share with others!
No I did not predict you were going to try to be unpredictable. I thought you were just doing a serious examination of predictability. Not that you doing that made the piece silly or anything. Its just was unpredictable. I really liked this work. I have the same thoughts about predictability before. Have you researched determinism at all? It might be a good thing to add.
Oh, cool. Thanks!
I have never researched determinism. I will look into it.
Thanks!
