Perhaps I'm reading too deeply into this, but this hurts. Getting forgotten about by someone close, who's crushing on the same person as you is a terrible thing to happen. Did you intend for it to be that way?

I find it flows really well - and I really like that one line at the end, and how it stands out. Also, I'm so, so sorry but it should be 'fancies' instead of 'fancy's'. But everything else is awesome!

Thanks for the review and gramma fix. :) The poem is up to you on how you see it some see it as being in love with two people or crushing on two people, it is up to you. Is it wrong that it makes me happy that this poem hurts?

No worries! :D
Yes, I can see that interpretation as well. Hahaha, I don't think so - I think it's a thing to strive for, as a writer! :D

Okay wow! First to say, I thought that you quoted it somewhere but then I saw that you twisted it around into your own creativity and idea.
I like the fact that you express the character to express herself from different views towards the two lovers that somehow relate to her.
Also the short simple poem just made me draw out a beautiful piece of story.
Nice work there, Sigyn (interesting name btw)

Cheers!

Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed it.

My name is a referrence to Norse mythology as Sigyn was the wife of Loki who held a bowl over Loki's held after he was imprisoned to stop drops of snake venom falling on his head.

Wow well interesting name though :)
cheers!

Hi:)

What a deeply relatable theme this poem deals with. The piece is simple and delicate in its form and language, I really like that. Most times heartbreak is not really that complicated is it? It might sometimes be easier to handle if it was complicated, if we were victims of crazy circumstances but more often than not, it is just a simple matter of not being wanted and not being needed. That is painful as hell.
Your poem reflects that so well, I think.

I'm a bit confused about the one line "But not enough", it's not a bad thing though. It makes you think if the narrator is at fault too for not being loved the way he/she wants to, are they too passive too not do anything about their feelings? Or maybe other complex feelings is at play here. Or maybe that's not what you were thinking at all haha:)

Overall, great piece, it reads very well. I do think it's missing something though. A little spice to balance out the repetitive and familiarity (I'm thinking about the flower petal poem it draws its inspiration from) of the poem.

I would love to read more from you :D

Thank you so much for the review.

Feel free to speculate over the line, "But not enough."

I'm glad you enjoyed the poem.

Heartbreak is a prevalent theme in this short poem of yours. Its three stanzas, separated by two loads of asterick trios, evoke a feeling of want- perceived as a need- but a want that will never be satisfied because of circumstance.

I thought I wouldn't like this poem that much, as the first stanza made me predict what was going to happen, but this poem is well written given the subject matter. The italicized first lines of each stanza are notable for their mission statements. This is then followed by the reality, beginning with "but". After that, it proceeds to show contrasts between the levels of attachment and attraction. If the speaker invades, a love triangle would occur. You have presented that dilemma in a simple but effective way.

My problem with this poem is the title. It doesn't seem to relate to the theme of the poem that much. Also, I would have liked more elaboration on the theme, as it is a typical heartbroken poem which does stand out, though could do more to blossom into being.

Overall, I did like this poem. I want to read more material from you.

Mostly I chose the title because of how it was meant to be read aloud as if you were picking flower petals going "he loves me, he loves me not."

Thanks for the review. :)

Hi Sigyn, Felistia back for another review, this time on your poem.

Firstly I love the theme and the twist on the old (he loves me, he loves me not poem.)
It is a rather short poem, but I think it's better like that. I can't find any grammar or punctuation problems as far as I can see.

I do have on nit-pick and I think it's just my personally opinion. I am not a big fan on writing all over the page no mater how neat. I see what you were doing, but I don't like it. Sorry. Feel free to ignore me completely.

Over all I liked it, well done. I hope to see more of your work soon and I hope you have a great day\night.

Thanks for the review again and I will think about changing it normal, it might be less confusing that way. Besides that thanks for everything. Have a great day/night.

That is a much better format.

Quotegenworthy is a adjective which should be used on YWS way more.
