Oh, this feeling.
It burns through my soul
with an everlasting light.
Never dieing, never fleeting;
Ever present, this feeling.
It is not the company
of strangers that I seek.
But merely that of a friend.

I really like this poem. I love how it's short yet it says so much. It really captures the longing a person can have for a close for a friend or for any friend at all. This poem makes me happy actually. Friends can be uplifting and make you feel more happier than anyone or stranger can.
Love the poem. It holds a powerful message that is complicated in its simplicity. When you said "It burns through my soul with an everlasting light." I thought of a candle. You did draw forward a lonely feeling with this poem. It seemed as lonesome as a single wolf howling in the darkness of the night. Such a beautiful poem is this. You also made me think of my friends. You did a great job of using your words to manipulate the readers emotions.
Hi,ShadowKnight155.So here is Dark to give review on your poem

Firstly,I know what you are trying to convey here, and I like how you use a friendship theme here.Verses in your poem is really good, just less attractive and looks weak in explanations.Maybe because it is too short, then the delivery of messages are still not clear.
#It burns through my soul
with an everlasting light.-->Look at this lines, the simile you use here are not enough to describe the feelings and fail to impress the reader to internalize it more deeper.I hope you can find another way that is not look so odd here. However,I love the last lines from your poem here.It something nice ,which have a distinctive meaning inside..
#It is not the company
of strangers that I seek.
But merely that of a friend.-->You just need to add more punctuation here to make it flow smoothy.
Good job,keep it up here
Cheers
~Dark.
This poem wasn't bad, although I did find it confusing.

"It burns through my soul
with an everlasting light."
That line suggest a powerful feeling, and the other lines that accompany it suggest, to me, that it is love that you are talking about.
"But merely that of a friend."
But then your last line suggested that it was loneliness, which just ended up confusing me. I don't know if you meant to suggest several different feelings, but I suggest using darker words to convey a lonely feeling, because I didn't feel lonely when I read it.
But otherwise it was a good poem! Well done
