As the fox lies sleeping
The bunny sits weeping
For its long lost mother's soul found
Written in red upon the ground

First i wanted to say that I did a stupid thing by posting a review without anything in it.Then this poem..umm....
first,It's short and for me it creates a creepy feeling.
Second,It has a really nice rhyme.
Thirds,The fourth line seems a bit disturbing{not in a scary way] I think it's disturbing the flow of the poem.
Anyway i liked it. it's short and you know scary.
Thank you for this review.
This is perfect. Short, sweet and to the point the whole of it hits home and paints a rather vivid image. There is nothing about it that I would change.
Very well done!
Thank you for the feedback.
Hi there!
Ok, I love this poem! There's just one little thing that bugs me. (It might just be me...)
The fourth line is longer than the others, and it throws the rhythm off a little. Of course, I could be reading it too fast or something. ^_^
All in all, this is a nice little poem! You have talent!

I totally meant third line, sorry for the mistake!
Thanks for pointing that out. I agree. Now let me go get thesaurus. Thanks again.
Hi there, friend! This is my first post as a member of this website, so forgive me if I make any mistakes.
First things first, I really loved your poem! It may just be my personality, but the adorable way it's written (and the mellow way the title sounds) really goes along well with its darker nature.
Unlike Falconer-shi (-shi is a polite Japanese suffix for colleagues), I do not believe you should elongate your poem! It's perfect as it is: a short, to the point, and frankly cutely written poem that sports a grayer theme. If it were any longer, it would take away from the style the poem is written in, and drag itself silly over something that doesn't need to be restated.
However, I think the rhythm in your third line is a little off. Maybe try using different wording to shorten it, so it can fit with the other three lines? I don't think you should add anything to the other three lines, though, because they are perfect as they are.
Overall, your poem was very nicely crafted. Good job, and happy writing!
Thanks for the review CorruptedRoseJen. This is varying feed back. I agree about the third line. I may try Falcons suggestions bit changing that line is top on my list.
Hey Shade,
Alright, so this poem. For being extremely short, it is still well-written. For this part, have no changes to make. However, I strongly suggest that you make this poem longer. Clearly, the fox killed the bunny's mother (and I like the last phrase showing that), so maybe you could elaborate upon that? What is the history between the rabbits and the fox? Did they have a peace treaty, or were the rabbits always on the run? What were the young bunny's emotions, other than sadness? The fox's? Did the little bunny want revenge? Just add more to the poem. I'd say it's a good start, and definitely has potential, but it just needs to have a fuller story.
Hope this helps!

Thx falconer. I didn't even think about expanding on the poem. I'll definitely consider this suggestion.
