I liked your brief and short work, your self contradiction is evident however. the poem has a charm of its own- its two face to same thought. stepping on to the nitpick-
first of all i think a hyphen after " Reality says" will add to the effect. and why is "this " in the very next line in capital when there is no period or comma in the previous line?
next you may make the " I" in the forth line in italics so that it drag the attention and emphasize your thought.
same again the " I" in the seventh line may also be in italics.
another hyphen in second last line after reality says.
except for the punctuation errors there is some problem in explanation that why your thoughts are contradictory. a story what brought it , or perhaps just a thought or proverb what makes it contradictory would have been helpful .
I like the size of your poem and the theme of dream versus reality.
you have good potential so keep on trying and write more such beautiful poems
keep writing

Hello again, QueenofWords!

Ooh, a palindrome! These are lovely when done well, and I think you've hit the mark. I've even "liked" it, and I don't "like" things often.

I am not brushed up on my palindrome rules, but if you can change the punctuation, it would be handy to change the punctuation a bit in the first and second stanzas in order to signal what reality is saying. I was a bit confused.

The first stanza, I have gathered, has the quoted line coming from a source outside the poem. I think. And then reality says it in the second stanza? If you can change punctuation, I'd add a comma after the second to last line, just so it signals with traditional grammar that the next line is spoken by the subject.

Overall, though, there isn't much to complain about. I like your writing style, and I can't wait to see more from you. I hope that this review proves useful to you! Happy YWSing!

Hello, Your Majesty!

This is a an extremely clever idea. The second half sounds perfect and I can understand exactly what message you're getting across. Your dreams let you do the impossible, however dreams in reality are meant to fail. The first half, however, is bit confusing. This is not so, it says I can do the impossible is the main culprit for confusing me. First reality says that dreams are meant to fall, but it also sounds like reality is saying that you can do the impossible. These contradict each other. If you try reshuffling some words, you might be able to make both halves make sense. Good luck! :)

Thanks for reviewing! :)
Actually in the first half, the first line was meant to be coming from an unidentified source, and reality is contradicting that claim. Not sure if that made sense, but...
Also, I'm not sure if you knew this but the first and second halves are meant to be separate, like two different poems. The second half isn't really a continuation of the first. You might have already known that, but if not this might be the source of your confusion.

And I do believe you're the first person to mention my royalty. 'Tis nice to be addressed in the proper manner for once! ;)

Ah, I understand now. :)
