He set the universe in motion
Made the sky, land, sun, and ocean
Created the hills, mountains, and trees
And he was pleased
Then he made the birds of the sky
Gave them wings to fly
He made the animals that walk
Gave them mouths to talk
Then he created man
And it sprung up his plan
This man was called Adam
Yet he was alone without a madam
God told him he could eat from every tree
Except for one which was agreed
He ruled the Earth alone
And respected the animals like it was their own
And God saw his loneliness
So he made a woman out of his success
The woman was called Eve
And she fit Adam like a sleeve
They roamed the Earth together
Throughout any weather
Then the devil came as a lizard
And made Eve eat the fruit like a wizard
Eve told Adam to eat of the fruit
And he did like a brute
They now know good and evil
And then went medieval
They clothed their naked sight
So they might not get smite
Then came in sin
This was not for the win
Then God came, knowing what they did
They told a lie like a kid
Then was banished for the garden
And now life has become harden
Um... this is just a simple retelling in poetic- structure. I don't see much significance in what you wrote, except that it is a tale from the bible.
Well, for most part, your rhyme scheme is top-notch and I commend you for that. XD But your structure is just bland and uninviting. Try to space out like this:
I added in periods and stuff. This poem has a severe lack of punctuation. Just wanted to throw that out there. XD
There are other mistakes in this poem, but you should figure them out for yourself you know? ^u^
I am not sure what the point of this is. It's just retelling the beginning of Genesis, without adding your own opinion or twist to it or message.
