All that night

All that night I walked alone and wept
I wept for those who do not know
Those who do not know my pain
Do not know what it’s like to lose somebody you love

All that night I walked alone and wept
I wept for those who have yet to feel
Those who have yet to feel my pain
The pain that comes when those nearest you must go

And then someone saw me and asked me why I weep
And I told him for those who do not know
For those who have yet to feel
He asked why I wept for the lucky ones
And I answer
Because they will be the ones hurt the most
When the do know when they do feel my pain

All that night we walked together and wept
We wept for those who do not know
We wept for those who have yet to feel
For they will be hurt the most

I really liked this poem. The flow was good, and it was very meaningful

It's crazy how your life can be twisted upside down inside out and around and you can get sushi from safeway still looking like a normal person
