I see it around me at all times, but I don’t have enough tears to cover
I haven’t always been the good girl, but I try to laugh
I’ve seen more than I know, and I know more now that I hurt
My pain has taken control,
I twists and scorns and tells me I never was.
What I’ve done is who I am, and that will never change
I fell, and it hurt.
I told, and it hurt
I stood, and it hurt.
My life has been one never ending lyric,
A chorus chanting words that pierce my flesh and break my bones.
Oceans of hate burn, mountains made of lies crush.
My pain is taking control,
I twists and scorns and tells me I never was.
What I’ve done is who I am, and that will never change
I fell, and it hurt.
I told, and it hurt
I stood, and it hurt.
I hear songs telling me who I should be, and how I should be capable of love,
But what I see is different, masks and dances, false fronts and stabbing friends
Taking what it needs and more, the morning has become a war zone
My pain took control,
I twists and scorns and tells me I never was.
What I’ve done is who I am, and that will never change
I fell, and it hurt.
I told, and it hurt
I stood, and it hurt.
She says I never cry, and she’s wrong,
I only cry alone, by myself.
Below I only hear laughter, but above I hear a whisper
My pain did take control,
I twisted and scorned and told me I never was.
What I did is not who I am, and that will never change
I fell, and it hurt.
I told, and it hurt
I stood, and it hurt.
I see it around me at all times, but I don’t have enough tears to cover
I haven’t always been the good girl, but I try to laugh
I’ve seen more than I know, and I know more now that I hurt

I believe this is a good example of a person who realizes their life and the cycle it goes through.
The process of their thoughts and reasoning.
Though I believe that you have potential and that if you keep on writing, you will become very could.
Sometimes, for future works you might want to consider not repeating certain parts.
That is all I have to say,

This is awesome! Great work on this. I like how you used line breaks and found room for meaning in each line break so that the poem was not boring and squished together. Some poems seem meaningless and rushed like that, but yours is definitely not one of them! I love the way you did this and overall I didn't find any errors other than that the meaning of this is a little vague. Could you maybe explain what this unknown character is feeling pain from? Some mistake or something? I would love that. Thanks for making this!
