Hm...frankly I think this is a bit ambiguous to be a good riddle. I've come up with a bunch of potential answers. However, inferring from previous responses, I'm going to guess either The Heart or The Mouth/Tongue.
And yes, at one point I was thinking of Middle Earth as well.

For further readings, the Middle East part was merely a joke. It does not have a ton to do wit the poem other than it is a place of violence and war.

Ok, so I find this work very confusing.
After reading and re-reading the piece, I still have absolutely no idea what the place you are referring to actually is. And that's weird.
You're referencing the Middle East, which is obviously a significant theme to the work, but it isn't really made clear why. :/
I think you need to deepen the detail given here.
Unless you are opting for deliberate ambiguity? I'm not sure.
I didn't dislike reading it, I just felt there could be more done with it.

Well this is interesting! I'm not sure what particular place you might be talking about, if not the whole world... I like the way this looks on the page, but I don't feel like I can really review it properly because it does remind me more of a riddle than a poem, at least because of the form and the lack of poetic devices. I'm also not entirely sure why "The Place" is being capitalised (at leas the article as well?), and I know it's just me, but I can only think of this pub called The Place close to where I live, so that was a bit distracting... but it's not your fault!
When I read this out loud, though, it does have a lovely rhythm in the beginning, and I like the slight rhyme as well. I was trying to think what word could be filling the blank and also the rhyme scheme, but I couldn't think of any!
A tricky one, this! I don't think there's more I can say about it, sorry about that!
