I take him down from his hiding place
Still as sharp as ever
He is overjoyed
'Shall it be on your arms?' He asks
'No because I now have people to hold on to.'
'Your chest?'
'No because I have someone in my heart.'
'Your neck?'
'No because I now hold my head high.'
'Your stomach?'
'No for I am not ashamed of how I look.'
He is desperate.
'Your legs?'
'No because I can move forward without you.' I say as I kiss my blade and throw him away never to look back.

Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
To put it simply, this is short, sweet, and to the point (no pun intended). I really like how you focus on moving forward from cutting. You have a reason for not cutting each body part the blade mentions, and every reason is true. You are taking the temptation and throwing it away forever. This is very inspirational to everyone, even the people that don't cut. You can substitute the blade for any hurting or bad habit, and the reasons will still be true. The only error I see is in the last line. There should be a comma after say, and I would put an 'I' before kiss. Well done.

I love the message you put forth and it's nice to see a more cheerful side of poetry because I've seen a lot of your dark poetry but your light poetry is also just as beautiful and as full of emotion as all your writings are.
