Ze Twitter Hater: "Twitter is so dumb. It's not like it's world-breaking news or anything. People are just giving you crappy information like: OMG! MY CAT FARTED! And to be honest with you, what if their cat didn't even fart? They might've just had a medical condition that made them have to use hash-tags so they could get attention. We don't need to know what you ate for dinner! It's not like the world will end if you don't tell us! Oh noo!! Will your followers die from not posting your status update?"
Snobby Girl: (stands up from the crowd and rants loudly) "WELL EXCUSE YOU!! Twitter is like, the most important thing ever!! (shows phone to crowd) What would we do without TWITTER?!?!Your so uncool! Like, L.O.L!"
Crowd: *rolls eyes
Ze Twitter Hater: Oh, really? Could you support that?
TwittTheTweeter: I just posted a hashtag for my followers to read!! #my hair is so fierce!!
(Whip yo hair back and forth starts playing)
Random Person: (flips hair back and forth) OHHH YEAHHH!
Crowd: *stare
Snobby Girl: YEAH! AND than the world wouldn't know what we are doing in our daily lifestyle! AND it's COOL, and your not!!
Crowd: *some people randomly start laughing
Ze Twitter Hater: (rolls on ground laughing, leading to coma-like hysteria!) HUH HUH HA HA HUH HUH HUH! AH HUH HUH HAH HUHHHH! SMAHH HUKK! HUUKK HUK! HUH HUH HUKK! HA HUKKASMAH!
Random Gal: EWWW! SHE SOUNDS LIKE A CAMEL DIEING!
Crowd: *mocks Ze Twitter Hater
TwittTheTweeter: (screams and bolts up to stage, tackles Ze Twitter Hater) STOP IT!!!!!! STOP ITTTTT!
Crowd: *screams
Edward: (whips out camera and takes vid of self, admiring glitter) BELLA!! COME BACK! I LUV U!
French Guy: Agh ! Non Crépuscule ! Je te déteste! (Agh! Not Twilight! I hate you Edward!)
Crowd: *screams and starts laughing
Little Boy: TEE HEE HEE TEEHHHH HEE HEEH! :-)
Crowd: IS ZAT A GIRL?

TwittTheTweeter: *gives out war cry and pants, passes out, (nobody cares).
Little Boy: Meh meh heh meh :-(
Snobby Girl: *is posting a hashtag on twitter about Ze Twitter Hater*

Hey, KatGirl!
Quick exposition on how I take things too seriously, I nitpick, and I'm basically annoying when it comes to reviews. Sorry.
I'm interpreting this as a manuscript. Since it's a manuscript, technically the correct format for this would be:
ZE TWITTER HATER: (action that she does) Words she says.
But I mean, I'll let it slide.
Your grammar is a little messy. I interpreted it as being the "snobby girl"'s way of speaking, but at times, even Ze Twitter Hater ran into these problems.
I know it's exciting, but using only one punctuation mark after a statement makes things cleaner. If you can't use an interrobang, using "?!" at some places is more acceptable, but I normally don't do it because... of reasons.
Your grammar within the manuscript is also not inclusive. I probably wouldn't have commented if I didn't see you, at the beginning, use parenthesis to block up action from text, and then, use asterisks. By the way, when writing an asterisk action, one normally ends in an asterisk (for example: *rolls on the floor laughing*).
Snobby Girl doesn't know how to use "your" and "you're" correctly. I'm pretty sure that was intentional, but unless they're texting, it wouldn't really come across.
I don't really think this piece were to be taken seriously at all, haha, but I take everything seriously, so I mean, let's go anyway. The point of Snobby Girl was to offer an opposing view, and in your attempts to make her like the girl you (or Ze Twitter Hater) envisions as someone who uses Twitter, you made her someone who literally had no viable support. I used to use Twitter (occasionally) to check up on Tweets from celebrities I liked, to post comical little doses that I wouldn't normally post on Facebook, and the like. Of course, everyone uses it for a different reason. Though I know that the point was probably for her to have no reason, so that Ze Twitter Hater could roll on the ground, laughing herself comatose, I just felt like that's something I should mention. For some reason. God only knows why.
This piece was pretty humorous. I wasn't going to comment on it until I decided to point out your inconsistency of grammar within your own piece (e.g. using parenthesis and then using asterisks for action, etc). Keep writing, and I apologize, deeply, for taking this so seriously.
I...........CAN'T..............STOP....................LAUGHING!!! I do agree that at first I thought the cat had the medical condition, until you said the medical condition included having to use hashtags for attention.XD I loved it!
yay xD
I understand your point about the Snobby Girl but I just want you to know that there are some really awesome people who use Twitter regularly. I know countless people who've made great friends through Twitter and honestly, the only hashtag I've ever used is #votebilbo . Twitter allowed Tolkien fans (which let's face it are a minority amongst people who vote on the MTV movie awards) to triumph above Kristen Stewart's Snow White and gain Bilbo his rightful place as Best Hero. I have made one particularly good friend, Molly, who I still check in with quite often even though I've sort of drifted off Twitter since I joined YWS. I regret nothing of the time I was regularly on Twitter: not the memes, not the endless fangirling, not the adventures I wrote for me and my friends Shannen, Eliza, Molly and Guntas to go on with Benedict Cumberbatch.

If it's alright with you, I'd like to add some extra characters:
Twitter fangirl(1): Pfft what a no0b. bet she still tweets #followme at Beiber.
Twitter fangirl(2): He has egg accounts following him y'know.
Twitter fangirl(1): ikr ugh beliebers are so crazy
Twitter fangirl(3): dude, we're Sherlockians
Twitter fangirl(2): omfg imagine Bennydict got twitter
Twitter fangirl(1): he would think we were insane
Twitter fangirl(3): We are. Embrace the madness
Twitter fangirl(1): *embraces*
Oops went a bit overboard there. That is a reconstruction of a conversation I had with I think Eliza and Molly once. I just wanted to bring to your attention the millions of creative, accepting fangirls (that means something different to people in the group than out it) who never use #'s unless it's to further the cause of their favourite literary characters.
But well done though, very original
Omg I love your fangirl thingy xD
Thank you! I'm glad you appreciate my POV
#ihatetwittertoo
That was my first proper hashtag. I don't tweet.
This very much reminded me of an Urban Dictionary definition.
Hi there,
Exactly who had a medical condition: the cat or the person writing the twitter messages?I like this piece. It's a contemporary piece, it got me wondering why you wrote it (perhaps a reflection of a recent experience, i presume?) I like that it reads like a script.
The sarcasm you give in this is just hilarious. The name "ze twitter hater" just had me in stitches. Speaking to that, the tone is very upbeat. That's a plus for humor, especially when writing sarcastic/satirical pieces... mostly (I JUST THOUGHT OF A GREAT SATIRICAL PIECE YOU SHOULD READ: The Case of Puddn' Head Wilson by Mark Twain. It's excellent! Should be free in the public domain. It's not too long, either.)
The way this story plays through, it sounds like these two are up on a stage somewhere. I can just imagine these two giving a Ted Talk and both at the same time looking ridiculous.
So, I am kind of a nerd, and I counted the amount of characters you used for snobby girl's responses. I think I came to a number less than 140 characters with each line. That is very clever of you to do since Twitter requires a specific character limit and that girl loves twitter. Ha. Brilliant!
Though I found few, there are some technical issues with this piece. For instance, this sentence:
Um, that part where you talk about "coma hysteria" confused me... What does that mean (maybe rephrasing it to: coma-like hysteria" would be better).
That's it for my review. I shall now watch the season premiere of the Walking Dead! Happy writing!
oh, and btw, I think the way you wrote it (short piece) was also excellent. Okay, to THE WALKING DEAD!!!!!!
What cat? o_o
Nvm xD
So. Its cute, and kinda funny. But it doesnt have all the parts of a story that constitute a story. Theres no plot to it. Its quiet short too. You dont character develope either whcih makes it hard to relate. and theres not much discription. I want to see more out of this then there is.
Hey, KatGirl! Zly here, with one of those... review things. You know!
(I really love your icon, by the way.)
