In Poems

stuck behind
my rubber
eye sockets.
stuck to the floor,
carpeted with cardboard.

stuck in a freefall,
with a feeling;
the weight of nothing.

a parasitic python
rests in my arteries
and blood clots.
parasitic with nothing
of feeling or reason.

no

there is no nothing.

only dumbbells
thrown onto its absence.
painted toenails plant
and move, around
me.

they'll know something's wrong.

nothing is missing,
it left me.
and all they feel is

nothing

Hello,I'm S.R.Skull or just Slade and I'm here to review your work.
The title just randomly threw me into my head singing the Talyor Swift song called Blank Place,but I know this poem is called Blank Slate.
My favorite lines are

"nothing is missing,
it left me.
and all they feel is"
This confuses me but I still love it. I still want to know how is nothing missing even though it left them? For something to leave it has to become missing.
"stuck in a freefall,
with a feeling;
the weight of nothing."
These lines are my second favorite because it makes me think of someone just falling feeling nothing and I like that mental image.

Hello!! Am moon.
First i really liked your poem its so good. Am really resonated with your poem. And this poem has that painful, melancholy vibe to me and yeah its about emptiness. My favorite line is

stuck in a freefall,
with a feeling;
the weight of nothing.

and when am reading this poem it remind me of an term called Alexithymia. Yeah overall i like this style of poem and its good to read. Keep writing!!! Thank ya for sharing.
