Oceans
When people ask “What do you want?” I never know how to respond. Sparkling foam covers the surface of my dreams and they are deep enough for me to lose myself within them twenty times over. Magnificent coral reefs the color of longing beckon me to each new discovery as flickering grains of transparent salt float into my eyes and nose. The water’s cool embrace almost brings me to tears and I allow it to because once it does, I won’t be able to see myself crying anyway. Undersea caverns are thick with the inky blackness of dreams unknown and dreams not yet understood: not yet embraced.
There are no creatures here which move; only the currents dance. Back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back. I allow them to move me because once they do, I won’t be able to feel myself moving anyway. The Benthic Zone is not the place for wondering what one wants. I begin my involuntary rise to the surface, holding my arms up and out past the fickle sheet of light and towards something which exists far beyond the ever-silent cosmos.

Hey, GreenLight! I just need you to know that this is beautiful and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Every descriptive line you wrote made me feel as though I was there in the ocean. You described it perfectly. "Transparent salt" and the inky blackness of undersea caverns were two of my favorite lines. I know this is such a short review but I'm honestly speechless. Great job, write more! I want to read them!
This was very beautiful. I adore imagery, and you did it so well!

This is amazing how you can relate to the feeling of being (is caged the right word?) Anyways but I love this because I can relate to it especially when people ask you what do you want, sometimes you can't answer, and I'm guessing you wish for the ocean, that's the only thing I'm confused on (but its not a big deal it happens

so astoundingly magic-like! The color of the reef is attracting you, which now I realize the character of this story is probably swimming, I never been to an ocean before, but the way you described its beauty is just amazing as if I experienced swimming in it myself (well if I could XD) There is so many more to describe about this particular work, but I continue I would probably get ahead myself! It was amazing and beautiful, filled with a type of lonely happiness, thank you for sharing your talent and continue writing! Rock on!
