U

Why do you want to love me,

Why do you want to hug me?

Why do you want to kiss me,

Why do you want to feel me?

                          I

I don't know why I want to love you,

I don't know why I want to hug you.

I don't know why I want to miss you.

U

But I can't let you love me,

But I can't let you hug me.

But I can't let you kiss me,

But I can't let you feel me.

                         I

This was very interesting to read. I think it shows how a relationship can be when people are second-guessing how the other feels. However, I think this piece could be strong if it was less repetitive with each person repeating the same lines. I more skimmed the lines than thoroughly read it. I think you would catch people's eyes more if each person had their own thoughts and words. Otherwise, very good job.

Hi/ Namaste
Thanks for the suggestion.
I myself felt that the repetition goes incorrect at some point. But now I will learn and develop my skill through it.
Thanks / Dhanyavad

i like the how its a two person poem. the repetition is something i found to be enjoyably reading, even if it was a little tricky not stumbling over myself while doing so. the sense this poem gives me is sad yet enjoyable as one side is questioning and the other reaffirms. ive read one of your other works and i do enjoy it. please keep this up, i love it.

thank you for writing this.

Hi/ Namaste
I just replied to your review on my other work and it feels really amazing that you even read my this work and even liked it.
The repetition in the poem at some point seems to be incorrect, but as they were truly my real words that come to mind during being nourished by that feeling I just wrote it as it is.
Thanks for understanding a conversation suggested in the poem.
Thanks/ Dhanyavad

Hi there!

I am here for a quick review for your very first work. So it was a pretty simple and sweet poem where you tried to show the conflicting emotions between you and the person you love. It looks more like an one sided relationship where the other person is not sharing the same intensity of emotions.

Well you happened to just play with a few lines in different ways and revolved on pretty much same concept. Though I loved this format but I think you could have brought some more variations in order to invoke some deeper feelings without just repeating the same concept. But like you mentioned in one of your previous comments that this is your first poem so I guess you did pretty well and there's always room for better. That will come by experience.

Your last stanza's sentences are wrong. I could see you were trying to follow the same format but it ended up being forced and grammatically wrong. You may write it as " I'll still keep loving you, ..." Or if you don't want to use the '-ing' form of the verbs then you may write it like this, " But I'll still love you, .." You can apply this to all the four lines. These are just suggestions you can do the corrections the way you feel is right for you.

Overall it was a good piece and I hope you will continue to share your work. All the best for future.
Keep writing ;)

Hi/ Namaste
Thanks for the advice and to understand the meaning.
Pehle mujhe pata nahi chala, par jab maine apka naam phir se padha to samajh aaya, ki aap bhi Indian hai. Thanks support karne ke liye and to suggest the right formate for the last line.
I'll surly take that in consideration and develop my skills.
Thanks/ Dhanyavad

Your welcome! :) Yes I'm Indian and if you will try to be more active around the site, you will definitely find more of us. ;)

Heyy! Awru here to review your work. I kinda enjoyed this poem. Its def a unique concept of maintaining a same monotonous tone through out and repeating the same thought in different ways over and over again. But then again, I feel like you could play around with words a lot more. You know in order to express strong emotions you need to play around with words and thoughts. In most cases just repeating the same things in different patterns do not leave a great impact on the reader or make them feel any emotions. Especially bcz its a romantic poem. Romantic poems are supposed to invoke and trigger strong feelings in the reader. I'ed say I did liked the rhythum though.
Also in order to maintain the repeating pattern you ended up structuring the sentences wrong like this one

I'll still keep to love you,

I'll still keep to hug you.

I'll still keep to kiss you,

I'll still keep to miss you.....

These sentences are wrong.
Overall, I think there is a potential in the main thought and if you try harder you will be able to beautify it more. The key is to keep trying over and over again and strive for the best. I hope to read more from you.^-^

Keep Up the Excellent Work! :smt023

PEACE OUT

Hi/ Namaste
Thanks for such suggestion. Actually these were the simplest words came to my mind while I was in the great feeling of love. And that's why I decided to be real even when to share it to the world.
But your are right, even when I was reviewing my own work before posting it does seem odd and a bit boring, so I will make sure to keep the real essance of poetry from now on, thanks for the advice, it means a lot.
Thankyou/ Dhanyavad..

Dont mention it XD. I am happy to help

Here we go,

I see a name at the bottom. Is that you because I just want to know that you didn't steal this from someone?

It repeats a lot, and I don't think that it's fun to read, so a change up somewhere in the middle can make someone actually want to read it for their own enjoyment, not just because they have to do it.

This isn't really a romantic poem in my eyes. I just think there's so much to make it better and make it seems more on the topic you want it to be on. I do see the poetry of it, but not the romance in it because it seems weak.

I'm going to wrap this up now, so I hope you understand what I meant and I hope it wasn't offensive in any way.

Hi/ Namaste
Not at all offensive in any way, thanks for making me understand a wider meaning of romantic poem. Actually this was my first English poem and thus I just wanted to know where I am wrong or right in writing. So thanks for your advice and I will definately keep the thing you suggested upon.
Thanks %uD83D%uDE0A/ Dhanyavad

And yes that's my name.

The first line is itself wrong.

"Why do you want to live me,"

It can either be "leave me" or "live with me", you are either missing something or there is a typo, "love"

I don't really get the idea or rather the theme of the poetry or the literature. I am no genius, so I will just say what I feel missing.

1)You are using too much "you," It looks really unnatural to me at least.
2)Don't know what rhyme scheme it follows.
3)The whole thing is just a copy of the same lines, with some words changed. It sounds, too unnatural.
4)In the last line of U stanza, "feel' is used, but in the last line of I stanza, it changes to miss. I got actually get the logic.
5)Could you actually decrease the length, with some many repeating lines, it is very hard and unenjoyable to read.

Like I said, these are my personal opinion, so you may feel bad. But honestly I really don't get it.

I'm really thank full for your suggestion, actually I myself felt such problems in it. But these words were the first that I could write having that strong feeling of love so I didn't feel to change while posting.
So I just decided to let it be.
Thankyou for your suggestions though, you comment made me understand the errors of my writing, please keep suggesting me with your knowledge.
Thankyou/ Dhanyavad
