Vote For Someone

I’m told its the elections
But for what?
I’m told it’s the Government.
But what's the big deal?
I’m told I have to vote.
But for who?
Someone, I’m told.

So vote for someone,
I get the idea now.
My friends agree;
“Let’s vote for someone!”
Everyone is voting;
For him – That guy – the
Mp – The politician – the
One with the glasses – the
Beard – the fat one –
Skinny one.

We form “Factions” – groups –
To vote, we argue and
Bribe – “Join us or we’ll
Avoid you – Bully you.”

I’m voting for someone,
But I won’t tell.
It’s time to vote.
Sally goes first;
“That guy”
Paul is next;
“The fat dude”
Tom, “The old guy”

Finally, it’s my turn;
“Someone”

This poem was written by me when I realised that I didn't know most of the government figures' names when it came to the elections. I was also talking recently with a friend, and we both couldn't come up with the Current Prime Minister's name. In England, several kids don't even know who their local mp is, let alone who is in the cabinet. So this poem was written for awareness of the young generation. Please comment

I'm defiantly not one for politics, and I didn't know what to expect when I read the title. I thought it would possibly be some creative form of words.
But I have to admit, I did like this. The flow is a little iffy, but in all honesty, it doesn't really matter, especially when the poem doesn't even rhyme.
I liked the purpose, it gives me this strange feeling of freedom. The whole idea was rather nice, and I don't have any advice, except that you should keep writing.

I love it! Best of all three I've looked at! I bet a lot of people can identify with this.
Now, for the actual review.
Nothing actually caught my eye as really out of place. I guess that the first stanza doesn't quite have the same level of intensity of the others, and yet I like that, it makes it so that you get the feel for the way that no one really cares about elections anymore. So no, I wouldn't change this at all.
My favorite lines would either be the last two, or the first three of the second stanza.
