Lost in Thought

Lost in thought,
My pen flows.
A never ending story,
Which a gardener sows.

The room, so listless,
My mind strives for life.
A giggling class, smiling,
And grinning with no strife.

The pages turn, to poems,
And sweet songs.
Love Romance, Fear and
Violence, continued to a gong.

At last, the bell,
Ringing so loud.
Time for home, many
Happy, even bowed!

Well, there’s no story,
Only my boring drone,
Which I’d probably tell,
My friends on the phone.

Please read and comment. Its a poem I wrote when I was bored in class.

Whoo! It RHYMES! So many people tell me it's overrated, but it's really underrated! Good job on that. I felt a good rythem throughout this piece. I don't really understand that there would be much to talk about with your friends considering you wrote this while you were bored in class (where I write too, haha), but okay XD. Good job ^-^.

Hey, its Isaac. I'm not too proficient with poetry myself, but I'll give it a shot.
I really liked the idea behind this, or, lack thereof, since it was just made in class when you were bored. I liked how it wasn't complaining about being bored though, a lot of, "oh school is so boring" pieces of writing don't have any surprises in them. Its like, yes, we know that already, show me something unique. So I liked how you went about this piece, adding parts showing that people were happy and enjoying themselves.

Happy, even bowed!

I didn't quite understand what the purpose of this line was, well, more the purpose of "even bowed!". Might want to make that a little clearer....
I hope this was helpful.
