Emotional Fighter

By Megan

She is not happy.

She is sad.

She is broken.

She is lost

She is coping.

She is learning.

She has emotions.

She is not leaving.

She is fighting.

Hey! EverWinter here, again!

This was a very good poem. It was short, but it made an impact. That is the sign of a good poem. I really enjoyed it, and I think it's great. With this style of poetry, I've seen people make pictures from the words. I think you should try that.

Anyways, all I have to say is that if you change "She has emotions" to "She is feeling" it would fit and flow a lot better.

Great job!

Ever.

I used the word emotions to make a connection with the title. The first few lines have feelings in them and I wanted to state that she also has emotions. If that makes any sense. Thank you for reviewing. I am over whelmed with the positive feed back.

That makes a lot of sense! :D Its a great poem!

DiamondForce99,

I think this can come off as many different things to many different people (if that makes sense at all :P) To me, I think of when I was dealing with depression and was having suicidal thoughts when I was bullied. By the time I got to the middle of 7th grade, I deciding to stop giving up and start fighting. I just feel this can relate to many people in many ways, and I'd like to say that this is one of the best poems I have ever read. Keep up the good work!!!

Thank you so much! That was the point of my poem that it meant something to everyone. There is no specific subject. For me it was depression and suicidal thoughts. It took me my junior year and a hospital stay to realize that there are things worth fighting for. I know this is a touchy subject for some people to read or talk about. It might make them uncomfortable. I want others to know that they are not alone and there are other people in the same fight.
