The Foreseeing Boy.

For the boy who kept hold of his books
relied on them, gaining imagination.
Experiencing an open minded level
receiving creativity in return.

The boy who grabbed on to his pencil,
authorizing the mind to control his muscles.
Illustrating majestic pictures,
rephrasing sophisticated thoughts.

The boy whose intelligence is well-used,
conformed in his mind,
expressed through his body
and rewarded with satisfaction.

The boy representing and bearing
the you in your name,
merely entitling what lies ahead.

The boy who’s intelligence is well-used,

It's not "who's" (which is a contraction for "who is") but "whose" which means it's possessive. ^_^

I love the title of the poem, which makes us writers sound so much special than what we are, lol. My favorite line is:

authorizing the mind to control his muscles.

...just because of the play on the word "author." It's fun. :D

But overall, it's really not one of your best. There seems to be no snappy conclusion or climax that brings the poem to a close, so it just seems to go on.

Who is it a dedication for?

I'm sorry, it is a dedication indeed :)

It was good poem, in my opinion, although maybe a few lines could be changed. Actually, I think this one:

authorizing the mind to control his muscles.

There isn't anything particulary meaningful or witty about this, it's just sort of like a "duh" sentence, and I'm sure you could come up with something better. ^_^

I love it! I see myself in here and the imagery and word usage is astounding. However, I don't see where its going. For the boy....what? Or is it more of a dedication to the boy?
