I can't be bothered writing depressing stories so I decided to write something more humorous, this story is going to be about 2 people called Tom and Josh. They were one of the hundreds of people sent off to find a 12-year-old girl called Mary. But because Tom and Josh are still quite immature teenagers, I guess you know where this is going anyway (also adventure is spelled wrong on purpose)
So, without further ado, I present to you The Great Afdenture!
Enjoy :D
"Hello person, can me and my friend Tom have some Ice cream," asked Josh
"And what would you like on it?" replied the Ice cream man
"Err, sprinkles, chocolate sauce, a flake, and marshmallows"
The Ice cream man handed them the Ice cream.
"Ok then Josh and Tom that will be eight-pound fi-"
The Ice cream man stopped and looked back up from his notepad to see Tom And Josh had vanished out of site.
The ice cream man stared
They sprinted as fast as they could down the old country road hoping that the escape was successful, which it wasn't.
A police car which they passed came swiftly through the country lane almost crushing Tom And Josh into the bush next to them. The car stopped right in front of them.
"Slow down!" shouted Tom
They both screamed as they hit the back of the police car, The only thing the officer heard after that was two high-pitched teenagers chanting swear words for a minute straight, even over the loud bang of metal which they had caused.
The officer stepped out of the car and walked round to the back of the car.
"What do you think you're doing!" shouted the police officer to the two young boys
"Running away from an ice cream man who we stole ice cream off" replied Tom
"And look what you have done you bloody police officer, you made us drop our ice cream you idiot!" shouted Josh
The officer tried to hold in his anger, but couldn't
"How dare you insult me, you are under arrest for stealing ice cream you little, idiotic bastards!" screamed The Officer
"Swearing, telling off you to my mommy" replied Josh, they both giggled before running off into the forest to the left of them. Leaving the officer out in the middle of the deserted road.
They were driving the officer to a nervous breakdown, he waited for Tom and Josh to leave before screaming and shouting and bashing the ground and tasering anybody who came past.
Tom And Josh were hiding in a bush, they laughed as both of them watched the police officer ruining the area. The turned towards the bush and stared at it with his beady eyes, before stomping over there.
Tom and Josh gasped before sinking into the bush, they came out the back and crawled through muddy terrain with a rotten stream flowing in front of them. They heard the crumbling of twigs behind them, they moved on.
"This is not working" whispered Josh to his brother.
"Well looks like we will have to leg it" replied Tom"
"Ok then, get up and run it in 3...2...1...GO!"
They both jumped up and sprinted away into the deep end of the forest, Tom and Josh panted as they ran through the rough timberland.
"I think we lost him!" shouted Josh
Tom both Josh jumped up to try and stop themselves, which was a success technically.
"My beautiful face, ruined" said a muffled voice from a puddle. Tom picked him up from his hair, it was Josh. He fully pulled him up and took enormous strides to get out of the damp mess. They both looked around to only see a small shack made out of wood and sticks, Tom walked up to it as Josh followed behind him. He looked through a gap in the wood to see a young girl and her what looked like dog, he walked inside to see this was the girl's house.
"Err, hello" said Tom to the girl
"What are you doing here, what do you want from me!" shouted the girl holding up a shotgun, fully loaded with the right ammunition. Tom put his hands in the air,
"I did not come for anything, just wondering who you were" uttered Tom nervously.
He began to sweat.
"Hey Tom, what's wron- Oh nevermind" replied Josh
He had seen the girl, Josh followed what Tom was doing and put his hands in the air.
"Now you two better not move, I will be right back," said the girl before walking off into the distance
"I suggest we run" whispered Josh
"We can't, if we move she will kill us. Remember?" replied Tom
"Well I am so, bye!" shouted Josh in fear before running off without him.
Tom sighed in annoyance, he turned to the direction in which the girl went.
"She's gonna be at least 10 minutes, that gives me time for a snacky!" thought Tom to himself
He walked over to the bench and searched through the cupboard above him
"Yum Yum, marshmallows" uttered Tom
Drool dripped from his mouth in hunger, he grabbed the flint and steel and lit a fire using the sticks and rocks the girl collected for her campfire. He shoved the marshmallow on a stick and placed it above the fire, he sat down and yawned. He put one hand on his cheek and watched as the marshmallow crispify. (not a real word, but still makes sense)
When it was the right colour he shoved the stick in his mouth and pulled the marshmallow off using the grip of his teeth, the poster for the missing girl all of a sudden slipped into his mind. Wondering if she was the one they were looking for all along, then a panting voice came from the right of him. He quickly ran back into the position, forgetting about the fire, the stick, closing the cupboard and putting away the marshmallow packet.
"Well then, looks like we have had a little something to ourselves" muttered the girl from beside of him.
Tom's sweat dripped down his face and onto his clothes.
"Don't be shy, you should have told me. Come on, let's have some together"
The girl grabbed Tom by the shoulder and sat him down on the bench, he sighed in relief knowing that he was going to live and not be injured in anyway hopefully.
"Where has the other one gone" wondered The girl
"He ran off over there" replied Tom
"Ok then, well we can have some time together I suppose. I found a chicken" said the girl swinging the animal in front of his face.
"I would love to but I need to find my brother Josh,
Meanwhile, Josh had found his way out of the forest and onto the country road. It was dark and the road was silent.
"Woohoo!" he shouted doing a mini victory dance.
"You have spoken too soon, young man" came a voice from the side of him, before being pulled by the ear back into the village.
"Ok then young man, I want you to pay this Ice cream man the money you owe him and apologize to me as well. Are we clear?" asked The Officer
"Yes sir" replied Josh
"Sorry Ice cream man, here is your money" muttered Josh
He paid the Ice cream man all the money and walked towards the Police Officer.
"And for you police officer, Balls Kick" shouted Josh
"Not so fast!" shouted The Police Officer back
Josh heard an electrical sound coming from the back of him, he was paralyzed. And he was in great pain.
Josh screamed in pain before dropping to the floor, The Police Officer deattached the taser plugs and picked him.
A mysterious figure sneaked up behind the officer, Josh used his fading vision to make out it was around the same size of him.
"Crowbar!" shouted the figure before thrashing the officer in the back.
The Police Officer fell on the ground dropping Josh with him, Josh was stuck under the man. Tom picked the man off Josh and threw him away before picking him up.
Josh saw the girl standing next to the girl, he pulled out the poster for the missing girl out of his pocket and did a comparison.
"What's your name?" asked Josh
"Isabella" replied the girl.
"Ok nevermind, I am going now. Bye," muttered Josh as he bashed his feet into the ground as he walked away.
"Wonder what's up with him?" wondered the girl
"Nothing, Nothing. Bye, I suppose." uttered Tom before hastily catching up with Josh and waving to the girl.
They both walked home and opened the door before collapsing on the floor, they slowly got up and clumped upstairs and onto their beds before finally falling asleep. No questions asked...

Hey! Ellie here to give you a review.
So far, I think you have a really intriguing set-up for a story here. Since this is in Novel/Chapter, I'm assuming that you're picturing this to be a longer work. I definitely think there's space for that here.
Parts of this made me think of The Boxcar Children, if you've ever read it, but I could see this being really successful as a children's book, especially something for kids that are a little bit older.
Wordwing gave you some really good advice on how to fix your grammar. That was a little distracting for me when I was read it. If you check out the Grammar and Research section of the Knowledge Base, there's lots of really good articles in there too.
I found myself wanted to know more about Tom and Josh. How old are they? They seem really young. What happened to Mary, and why are they looking for her? Your paragraphs are really short, so there's a lot you can add here. Really paint a clear picture of this world!
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hello! Wordwing here!
1.
Correction: Hello person, can me and my friend Tom have some ice cream? Josh asked.
(or just we instead of me and my friend)
2.missing periods. For example:"And what would you like on it?" replied the Ice cream man
"Err, sprinkles, chocolate sauce, a flake, and marshmallows"
3.
Correction:Ok then, Josh and Tom, that will be eight-pound fi-
I think there is no need for "the ice cream man" again, just use he or the man.
A period is missing again, and you already mentioned ice cream man in the previous sentence.
4..
Correction: Swearing, I am telling you off to my mommy,"
So, I don't know much about writing humorous chapters, you will have to get someone else to give you advice on that, but I suggest you fix your grammar.
Best of luck;)
