I'm sitting here
dragging in air
drumming these keys
hammering my brain
for inspiration
yet the demons escape me
the imagery takes flight
I'm lost in a world
with no creativity
no showers to wet my pen
no paper for my endless scribbles
but I sit here typing
hoping for reviews
to brighten my day
and bring some hope.

Oh yes, a poem about writers block; the best! Despite claiming to have no imagery you have tons of it:

drumming these keys
hammering my brain

Also its only a matter of time before you find something to write about. Write about space turtles. I hear they're intresting and all the rage with the kids! I like how you describe all of the ideas to slip out of your mind. Great work! :)

I agree with Snoink, it seems like you were fighting writers block, and well, it was extremely raw. And you had no punctuation, AT ALL.

I'm sitting here,
dragging in air,
drumming these keys.
Hammering my brain
for inspiration,
yet the demons escape me.
The imagery takes flight;
I'm lost in a world
with no creativity,
no showers to wet my pen,
no paper for my endless scribbles.
But I sit here typing,
hoping for reviews,
to brighten my day
and bring some hope.

Love it!!!!! I don't normally like poetry that doesn't rhyme, but this one....I got to hand it to you.... It rocked!
The first two lines had me hooked from the start.

I'm sitting here
dragging in air.

Got to love it.
My only teeny tiny complaint was this one line,
no showers to wet my pen

Sort of a weird line. I didn't really get it,plus it kind of messed up the flow.
Well I'm done. Nice job and keep it up.

Well, I defenitly think you're gonna get some reviews out of that. I really liked it, actually, even though I'm not sure if you were just, ya know, trying to get some stuff out of your brain. But anyways, I really liked it. Your funny (and if you didn't mean for it to be funny, sorry, but it really was).

I'm trying to depict what this means. I know that it is a random poem, but I can tell that it has meaning. I feel as if it is saying When you have writers block, you start writing anyways, but it comes out as complete crap. This happens to me a lot. I like this poem, keep writing.

XD

Oh dear!

Well, okay. This was very amusing! I'm not sure what exactly this is for, but I am 99.7% this wasn't serious and you're just trying to get out of writer's block. And that's okay! But, as you can probably guess, it doesn't make for the best writing ever. XD

Anyway, my advice so you can get ideas for writing is to go outside or talk with friends or whatever. Sometimes, I think that we writers can try too hard pumping inspiration out of ourselves, so that we end up leaving ourselves dry, but really, there is information outside of us. So, bug people, do things, and just enjoy yourself! Information will come... but sometimes it should be led slowly and softly to you.

Besides, everybody know that the best ideas are the ones that come up completely randomly without any force at all. In ancient Greece, they used to call that inspiration from the muses and it was considered to be divine inspiration! In fact, Homer's Iliad starts off asking for inspiration from the muses!

In any case, don't fear. ;)

Haha ok I like it. At first I though you were talking about having wrter's block, but now that I'm done with it I'm not sure....
Are you asking for a serious review? If you are I gladly will, but i don't think you are so I won't.
Your title was right- it was very random. I liked it, though!

Keep writing!

For in everything it is no easy task to find the middle ... anyone can get angry—that is easy—or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy; wherefore goodness is both rare and laudable and noble.
