"If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second.” -Johnny Depp
I have a slight dilemma
Of loving two men at the same time.

One man I have loved since age twelve,
The other for eight months.

The problem is I have no clue,
Of who the second man may be.

The man I have loved singe age twelve,
Has been on and off since that time.

The man I have loved for eight months,
Has had a steady run.

In the midst of such a steady run,
Things turned on with the other man.

He told me things I had longed to hear,
For the time we had off this past year.

Now I have a slight problem on my hands,
I do not know what man came first.

Was it the man I loved since age twelve,
Or the man I've loved for the past eight months?

Hey! So I guess I'm here to do a review. (Sorry, I'm kinda new at this stuff).

So first off, I really like your writing style. You definitely have a great voice in your writing. I feel like what you wrote is a question more than anything, although I love the wording that you used with it. So honestly, I don't really know what to say but good job!

Have a great day,

Dawny

Hello BlockedWriter21, I am here for a short review.

Frankly it seems more like questions from us than a poem. Maybe I felt this way, but yeah, I am just taking about myself.

Rhymes would have made it much interesting and fun to read; it is not bad though. But an addition of rhymes should have been there.

The first stanza is great and perfect as a starting line; and it is my favorite too here.

Other than that, it is really a dilemma! If you ask my suggestion, stick to the one whom you are with for twelve years; Old is gold ;)

Anyway, good effort. Keep writing and make sure you don't include so many questions in your poem. If you want to include questions, then those questions should be indirectly answered too in the same poem :)
