Unexpected
A normal happy life
Can turn to one of pain and sadness
When husband divorces wife
And you can’t control the madness.
Well things are now a bore
Until a simple routine checkup
Turns to something more
And your eyes start to tear up.
It was almost noon
This day was very much expected
But not this soon
But death is something you’ve accepted.
Then you know for sure
That you should always suspect
That life will knock at your door
And you’ll almost always face the unexpected.

Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!
Anyway let's get right to it,
Okayy...so if I'm not mistaken, this prologue here is mean to be in the form of a poem of sorts, cause the formatting being used here and the general feel of this piece is giving me very poemy vibes at the moment, and while it does seem like a sort of narrative poem, it is very much a poem.
This does bring an entirely new flavor to the story here, definitely something rather unique here...and you manage to explain yourself rather well through this medium here, it manages to very effectively bring to life the general gist of this incident and well, this is certainly the sort of incident that is very effective at catching your attention here.
From what I understand it looks to be a case where someone finds out their significant other has some kind of terminal illness during a routine visit to the doctor which predictably leaves them in tears and the death comes even sooner that was expected...which well, certainly succeeds in making me want to read more of this story...so yeah, a very unique and I'd also a very effective prologue here.
Aaaaand that's it for this one.
As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.
Stay Safe

I love the fact that you added a poem to explain your story. That's very creative! I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that before. But then when I think about it: why not?
Thank you!!!
i will have the first chapter up as soon as i get enough points lol
