What a Gymnast
Kaylyn Stout
Roundoff Backhandspring Tuck,
Such a beautiful combination
To be such a great gymnast,
Takes a lot of determination.
I admire your strength,
As you mount the beam
What you do on there,
I can only do in a dream.
The bars, well you’re a pro,
The way you swing with ease.
It certainly reminds me of a monkey,
Swinging among the trees.
I watch as you run towards the vault,
With a look of pure will
You jump upon the springboard,
And I think “Wow what a skill”
And right after the meet,
I see you take the win
And it inspires me,
To take gymnastics and begin.

I actually wrote this for little kids in fact. It's for the YMCA Gymnastics. Thanks for the reviews, and the time you all took to read them.
This wonderful. It truly showed the strength it takes be in a sport. Great job.
Hello.

Not too bad!
I do enjoy the theme, and I do agree that its something very hard.
But, it may be just me, but the rhyming seems forced throughout the whole entire poem.
Almost as if a little kid is writing this.
And of course that's perfectly fine, because a little kid would enjoy this as well as I have!
This is truly a great job, nice.
Oh my gosh! I loved this! I'm in gymnastics and I love when people write about it and stuff and admire it because it is such a difficult sport. Awesome job!
