I just finished reading The Awakening and it was okay. I loved the message, but I'm not a huge fan of Kate Chopin's style. It was partially blunt, but partially subtle- the way she mixed the two didn't work for me. But it was worth reading still.

Now I'm reading Farewell to Arms for my Literature class, which I read in high school, it's okay.

I'm also reading a book called At The Point of a Gun for one of my political science courses and it's really interesting.

I believe YWS IS Russian-crazed.

I finished Anna Karenina! Oh, you all just HAVE to read that book! It's so passionate and heartwrenching and sweet and exciting and breathtaking all at once. I loved Levin!

Right now-well, right now I'm not sure what I'm going to be reading. I'm thinking of War and Peace or The Idiot. Not sure which one I should tackle.

I have just finished reading 'Brilliance of the moon' part of the Tales of the otori series. It was really good but the writing is a contrast between to simple and to confusing!

I just finished up Stephen King's [i]Wizard and Glass.[i]

I'm reading If on a Winter's Night a Traveler by Italo Calvino. It's so...awesome. It's like the perfect book for obsessive readers like me. It's great.

You should read The Idiot, Wiggy; I thought it was much better than War and Peace - but that's just a suggestion and there's really no favorite to be distinguished between Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky.

Right now I'm reading a perfectly marvelous book called 'Hope was here.' I admire the style so much! Anybody else read it?

But for school I have to read The Great Gatsby by: F. Scott Fitzgerald, and in class we're reading Ethan Frome

Just finished: On The Road by Jack Kerouac
Middle of reading: Brighton Rock by Graham Greene

Kerouac's writing style is brilliant, he's my new favorite author!

And Brighton Rock is very dark, but very inspiring.

I think i have praised Augusten Burroughs enough by saying i have reda his books so mnay times, so i am now reading 'A Child called it' its horrible and makes me sad

I'm reading Beka Cooper: Terrier by Tamora Pierce, and I just can't seem to get through it. It's an okay book, but it's not terribly interesting. I can easily put it down and not think about what will happen next the rest of the day.
*sigh*

Which by the way is turning out to be one of my favorite books ever. I've read quite a few good ones lately: A Clockwork Orange and Lolita spring to mind.
