Up on the hill I find my sight
Up on the mount I look the fount.
Never relent
Never give up
When storms pass and winds blow by
Whom do I look to make me stand?
When a step makes me fall
What do I do to take a stand?
Men comes by and men goes by
None can give me what I want
God alone sees all things
Yet no one tells me so.

Hi Akan,

welcome to the site! Nice poem, I like some of the light repetition / rhyme. As a tip, the Poetry Discussion section of the forums is more for discussing poetry topics and poems written by non-YWS people. You can post your own poems through the publishing center. Posting through the publishing center is the best way to get feedback on your work, because YWS works on a review/point system to encourage people to give feedback and earn points in order to get feedback. Reviewing is kind of the system that makes the whole site run, but only really works when poems are posted through the publishing center. If you aren't looking for feedback, but just want to share your work, that's better suited for this thread or maybe your wall.

To post from the publishing center go to the top black bar on top of the page, click "Publishing Center" , then "Add New Work", type out your poem, then click "Submit".

Hope that helps!

but i have promised to return
