When he first came into the spotlight, the public knew director Jason Pollux to be young, energetic, and extremely talented. After graduating from the University of Southern California, he quickly rose to the public eye. His first two films were moderate successes. His third film, December Star, swept the Oscars when it was released, making Jason, at 27, the youngest person to ever win an Academy Award for Best Director. This drove the media crazy; they called him a visionary, America's great director of the modern age. They believed that there were no limits to what he could do.

However, in the next few years, the quality of his films started to decline. Whether he was cocky, lazy, whatever the reason, the public grew bored and lost interest in him. Once Pollux realized this and his assets started to decline, he grew frustrated. He liked fame and attention. He still felt as though he had many more films to produce. He wanted to prove those who had said he was finished wrong. The thought drove him mad.

He began to conceive an original film, entitled The Lost Ones, about an alternate future where Germany had won World War II. In this alternate present, the United States groups of seventeen year olds each month to the Amazon Rainforest to face a variety of deathly challenges. Their movements are watched and recorded; if they survive the challenges, they are welcomed back into society.

Buzz over the new film starts to stir. The people are intrigued by it. The crew is gathered and the movie receives a stellar cast. The people think that the movie will be Jason Pollux's great comeback. However, they are unaware of the the measures that Jason Pollux believes he needs to take to ensure his film is never forgotten.

This is where you come in. You are an actor portraying one of the seven teenagers to be sent on this quest in the Amazon. You're very excited to apart of this film, especially since you're going to be filming on location; for all you know it's a month long exciting adventure. You are all brought to South America in luxurious style by your director, and you even get a chance to to do a little sightseeing before filming begins.

Once filming begins, things start to go very wrong. It's just you and six other actors plus the crew and director, seeing as how all of the scenes back in America have already been shot and the other actors are no longer needed. You're not staying in a hotel, but rather camping on location. Jason doesn't allow you to contact your family. You have no stunt doubles. Something feels wrong. And the exciting adventure of filming this movie turns into a living hell. Slowly, you learn of his plans that he intends everything that happens in the movie - including the deaths of all but one character in the movie, to be completely real. And there is no way out, unless you find one.

Name: Casey Miller
Character Name: Lucy Vale
Age: 17
Appearance: Thin and pale, with mousy brown hair, freckles, and bright blue eyes. Casey was never a very athletic person, but she spent a lot of time at the gym in preparation to play Lucy, a character who wields and axe and must lead the group with determination and skill. She's very pretty, but also dresses plainly and also has a very shy and innocent look.

Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Casey is a very modest and sweet person. She always had an incredible talent for acting, but was never one to bring attention to herself. She's a very selfless person, always complimenting and doing things for others, often so that she forgets to stop and consider her own needs. She is also extremely brave.

Background: Casey acted in school plays when she was little, but only in the past year before her casting did she start branching out into community theater. She decided to test her luck at an open audition in New York City, where she lives. She couldn't be more thrilled to make her her feature film debut.

Other: She's very optimistic about this experience. Maybe she'll even meet a nice guy.

All our dreams can come true — if we have the courage to pursue them.

Name: Ralph Fogarty

Character Name: Anthony (Tony) Hales

Age: 19

Appearance: Ralph has a scruffy mop of brown hair and a stubble beard. His eyes are a dark grey. He tends toward wearing plaid shirts, Chuck Taylors and ripped jeans. Sometimes, if he's feeling especially hipster, he'll add a fedora, scarf, and big square glasses.
Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Despite playing a character who is rather full of himself, Ralph is constantly surprised by his acting success. He is a quiet kind of friendly, not pushy and quite happy to occupy himself, but will gladly hang out with, listen to, and encourage his friends. A hipster at heart, he is completely absorbed with the arts: drawing, photography, music (he can't carry a tune in a bucket, but he likes to listen to it), and of course theatre. But coffee? He can't stand coffee. Even the smell can turn his stomach sometimes.

Background: He had a job as a waiter before the movie, to put him through community college if the acting thing didn't pan out. Ralph's father didn't approve of his acting at all, but his mother had him auditioning since he was a year old, which was, Ralph believes, the reason they divorced. He was in a couple of commercials in his childhood, and was in his first movie, as an extra, when he was 9. He's had only one speaking part since, and is quite excited to get a leading role.

Other: Don't tell anyone, but back home he owns over 50 pairs of sneakers.

Will return to complete~

Name: Parker Jamison

Character Name: Clarke McCauley

Age: 20

Appearance: Parker's been called attractive, though a fairly unassuming attractive. He looks nice but not nice enough to have girls crawling all over him (not that he minds). He used to wear glasses, and is still adjusting to his contact lenses his agent insisted he wear. He has light brown hair that's been kept fairly short for auditions - as his agent says, the bedraggled shaggy boy look is out - and slate blue eyes.

Personality: Parker is a keep-to-himself kind of guy. He doesn't feel comfortable around most people, especially crowds, and prefers to be on his own where he knows he's accepted. He's friendly and kind, and can easily put on an act for anyone of course. On stage is the only place he's really felt comfortable around people, probably because he gets to pretend to be someone else.

Background: New to acting, and fresh on luck, this is Parker's first film. He's mostly concerned about the movie hitting it big and being thrust into the spotlight, someplace he doesn't particularly want to be. Before breaking into acting, he could be seen on his college stage with the drama society from time to time while he studied bio-medical engineering at a prestigious university. He doesn't like to talk about it, or the full ride scholarship he tossed away when he dropped out.

Other: He's gay, but he's not exactly comfortable with it yet.

Name: Archie Montana
Character Name: Tyson Donahue
Age: 23
Appearance:
Spoiler! :
Image
Dark brown hair, dark brown eyes. Archie has a very smooth complexion, chiselled features and a well toned body. You do not have to tell him this.

Personality: Archie's a bit of a wuss. He doesn't do his own stunts, he doesn't do wildlife and he certainly doesn't give blood. The sight of the welling red liquid is almost enough to throw him into fits and Archie doesn't deal well with confrontational situations. But he's good at acting. As long as the gore's fake and he isn't doing anything dangerous, Archie can be whoever you want him to be.

Background: Archie's mum was a model and that looked to be the way he was going to go, doing his first photo shoot at just four months old. But on a whim his mum decided to enrol him in some acting classes as well and it turned out he had an affinity for it. Archie's lived a very sheltered life and isn't good at taking care of himself.

Other: Archie has a very manly scream which he will be using often.

Name: Hannah Alexandra Davenport
Character Name: Jenna Winters
Age: 17
Appearance: She brings sexy back, baby. Her golden curls and bright blue eyes [ignore the eyes in the baby picture] are her strongest and most recognizable features. Hannah always dresses in the latest fashions and fears of wearing last season’s garb.

Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Hannah is proud, confident, and a brat, but she’s okay with that. She knows what she wants and gets what she wants. Anyone who stands in her way is an idiot with a death wish. Shallow and unintelligible, she leaves all the hard work to her agent and whoever else is next to her. If something’s not done right, she will screech and argue until it is.

Boys are always on her mind as well, and if they look cute, they better be ready for this party animal. Hannah will saunter and flirt with any hunk of meat within reach. She’s very practiced with her dashing smile and poses since she grew up with the paparazzi following her every step anyway.

Background: Hannah’s been on the TV since she was three years old, playing the role of an adorable and well-loved little princess, Alexis Stirling. Movie after TV show after guest star after movie, she’s constantly praised and beloved by her fans.

Her mother is an actress (Cynthia Wilder) for theatre, once having been a hit on the much respected Broadway. Now she’s merely a drama teacher for university, but she lives through her daughter. Her father is a scriptwriter for TV series, enjoying his career and not minding that he isn’t the best. She’s got the background, the encouragement, and quite frankly, the money to get her on top. Neither of her parents do anything but spoil her.

Naturally, she’s homeschooled by a hired tutor, but she doesn’t care about her studies. She’ll get passing grades (though flunking isn’t abnormal for her), but otherwise, she lives for admiration and adoration.

Other: She starts out loving the experience, but as things go downhill, she will get cranky, upset, and.... Well, she’ll be a handful. She also carries a huge purse filled with every spoiled girl’s needs.
I make my own policies.

Name: Theodore 'Theo' Marner-Hilliard

Character Name: James Sutton

Age: 22

Appearance:
Spoiler! :
Image

Over six foot, with brown hair and brown eyes and a baby face, despite being 22 Theo was perfect to play Golden Boy James. He didn't even need to work out for the part, just look at those arms.

Personality: Theo's pretty laid back. Okay, Theo's extremely laid back. Theo may as well be horizontal. He just loves his life. Who wouldn't? He likes what he does for a living, he's one of America's few self-made millionaires under the age of twenty five and the ladies love him. Yeah, Theo likes being Theo.

Despite this, he's not actually all that cocky. Especially not with other actors or crew members. He learnt that it doesn't make you any friends. He's loud and confident and sometimes brash, and he mocks people a lot, but he always means well. He comes off as a bit stupid, but he actually isn't, when needed he can show that there is in fact, brain to go with that brawn.

Background: Living in the City of Angels, Theo was always just a touch away from the movie industry, but his dad was a lawyer and his mum was a shopkeeper. He auditioned for his first movie at fifteen on a whim, there had been a lot of talk about careers and life choices in school which stressed him out because he didn't know what he wanted to do.

Turns out it was acting. His first role was in Malady, a thriller that got generally bad reviews, but critics all said that the world should keep an eye on Theo Marner-Hilliard (and also made jokes about his name). The world did. Theo Marner-Hilliard did not disappoint. He got his GED on a movie set, and he's been working constantly for seven years.

Other: In his free time on set, he's reading Wuthering Heights on the recommendation of his sister. He doesn't see what the big deal is, but he loves his sister just like he loves his life, and the world.

Casey

Until she was cast, Casey never would have guessed that her first trip out of the country would be to Brazil. As she and her fellow cast members descended the private plane that had been funded by Mr. Pollux, the first thing she noticed was the humid, sticky heat. Other than that, it was gorgeous. Maybe not as breathtaking as the view had been the vacation days they'd spent in Peru, but then again, they were still only at the airport.

Despite the fact that they'd already wrapped up three weeks of filming in New York City before spending a little less than a week in Peru, this whole thing still felt so surreal to Casey. I mean, here she was, her plain boring self sharing the same space as Theo Marner-Hillard and Hannah Davenport, even if the latter one was a snot and an okay actress at best.

And to think, after they were done filming their adventures in the Amazon, the movie would grow closer to release, and she would be interviewed, attend premieres, red carpets...everyone would know who she was. They were already talking about her a little bit, about how Jason Pollux had cast a plain, unknown girl to be his lead.

They walked over to where two vans were waiting to take them into the forest to check out the set. They wouldn't do any filming today, just get situated. As they walked, Casey watched Theo, wanting to say something but not knowing exactly what. She'd never bought in into everyone worshiping him until she'd actually seen him in person. The few times they'd interacted had given their stomach flutters.

Casey shook her head. Now was not the time to stress about boys when she was going to see the Amazon rainforest in person!

Theo Marner-Hilliard

"You know before we came here I thought Brazil was just, you know, Rio, big Jesus and then wham! Trees everywhere. And that's why so many people got kidnapped."

Theo said this to no one in particular. Parker gave him a sympathetic smile. Theo shrugged and looked out the window at the city of Manaus, at colours and fruit and people passing by. The air here was heavy, so dense and thick with water and the smell of trees. After the high altitudes of Peru though, such thick air seemed almost a luxury to Theo's lungs.

"Is there a Starbucks?" Hannah asked, looking out at the city. "I want a last coffee before heading off into the wilderness. Driver, Starbucks!" she shrieked. The driver understood, and laughed. Hannah looked disgruntled. "They just better have fresh coffee on set. No where in my contract did I agree to drink instant."

There was, thankfully, a Starbucks in Manaus, and the driver pulled over. Hannah waited for him to open the sliding van door and pranced out.

Casey muttered something that sounded suspiciously like, "Diva."

"Oh, she's not so bad, I've met worse. Manon Devereux- you know Manon Devereux right?" he asked Archie. Archie just sneered at him.

Yeah, he and Archie weren't getting on great.

"Anyway, Manon Devereux refuses to work unless there's fresh tiger lilies in her trailer. Hannah's okay, as long as she has her venti triple shot skinny caramel cappucino, and a few other necessities." He winked, not quite sure at who, but it seemed to be aimed at Casey. He managed to elicit a giggle from her. Well, at least that was something.

He stretched his arms out across the backs of the seats, quite aware that all the eyes of his fellow classmates followed his guns as he did so. "You know, you guys are really the most introverted bunch of film stars I've ever met."

"We're not introverted, we're just bored," Archie said with a roll of his eyes. "With your talking."

"I like my talking," Theo said quietly, but didn't say much else. They sat in uncomfortable silence. Ralph eventually picked up a conversation with Casey, and the two of them chatted softly until Hannah came back, Louis Vuitton swinging happily from her elbow.

"Drive!" she commanded as she hopped back in. "Ooh." She squeezed Theo's bicep. "I forgot about these bad boys."

Theo withdrew his arms from the back of the seat and spent the rest of the journey with his hands clasped as inconspicuously as possible in his lap.

"Wish we got to spend more time in the city," Parker said wistfully, looking out at the city. Theo agreed. A mixture of skyscrapers and older buildings, it didn't look like the type of place you'd expect to find right in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, embraced by the river.

"Do we get a vacation night to come out to the Theatre or anything?" Casey asked. She had clearly read her guidebook.

Theo shook his head. "Looks like it's filming right through until we're done. Maybe we can take a few extra days before we fly home. I'm sure Pollux will put us up in a hotel here."

But then the van suddenly veered and there was a stretch of road and then green darkness.

Parker Jamison

Parker let out a breath and focused on the blur of green through the window as their van rumbled down the old jungle road. He forced back the hot redness that rose at his neck, willing himself to keep his eyes of Theo's biceps.

He had expected to be met with muscular actors, and actresses, in a movie about survival in the wilderness. What he hadn't expected was for them to be so handsome.

Thankfully, it was easy to distract yourself with a van under the reign of Miss Hannah Davenport, diva extraordinaire. She was the type to believe she was all that, proven by her insistence to find a Starbucks for at least half an hour before the driver gave in and stopped. Parker dreaded the idea she would discover his sexuality. She was exactly the kind of girl to latch onto him as her "Sassy Gay Bestie" and demand to take him lingerie shopping or something.

Parker didn't know the first thing about lingerie - he supposed even gay men wouldn't put themselves through the lace torture the women in lingerie ads appeared to be in - and had little interest in shopping.

Ralph leaned over Parker's seat, breaking his concentration. He held a notepad out for Parker to see. "This is what I'd like to do to Hannah and her stinking espresso," he muttered, a laugh hanging on his tone. It was the image of Hannah bawling dramatically as Ralph chucked her coffee cup into an alligators open mouth.

"I think it's a cappuccino, actually," Parker said with a soft smile.

Ralph rolled his eyes. "Same difference," he said as he dropped back into his own seat.

Parker laughed to himself. He liked Ralph; he was friendly and almost as reserved as Parker liked to be. They had been lumped together as roommates, despite Ralph's lead status, and Parker was alright with that. Surprisingly Ralph wasn't exactly his type, so it was easy to keep his cool around him.

He sunk back in his seat, closing his eyes as Archie continue to complain of his boredom, and wondered how far into the jungle they were actually going.

Hannah Davenport

"There is really just nothing like a delicious cup of caramel cappuccino to get me going. Ralph, you are so totally making out on this -- whoops!" Hannah giggled. "I meant to say missing out, I really did."

Ralph frowned and looked away.

That didn't phase Hannah, though. She sipped happily at her coffee, leaning back into her chair next to the adorable Theo. "Goodness, how long 'til this trip is over? I really cannot be cooped up on a vehicle anymore--"

"But you just got out," Theo chuckled.

Hannah shrugged, smiling after having amused Theo. "I still stand by the fact that his drive is ridiculously long, and I'm dreadfully tired. This is not first class transportation. And really, if my agent didn't think this was good for my career, I would most likely not be here in the first place. I don't do jungles. It gets my hair all frizzy!" She flicked her blonde curls over her shoulders before taking another sip.

"I thought Pollux said that was intentional," Theo said, flicking at her curls, "for effect, you know?"

"Oh, whatever!" Hannah opened her handbag and dug around the extraordinary amount of necessary items she had to take with, and pulled out a mirror. "It's ridiculously hot as well. The moisture is unbearable."

"You look fine," Theo chuckled, leaning on to his chair's arm to peer out the windshield.

Hannah ignored him, fluffing the curls framing her face and redoing a little makeup here and there. One last check, and she snapped the mirror shut and put it back in her handbag. "There. I feel somewhat normal now. Why is this bus so damn quiet? Let's crank up some music or something. Hey, driver!"

Theo set her back down in her chair and laughed. "No, let's just... talk to each other. The only time we ever do is when we're in character."

"No one talks but us," Hannah hissed.

"Oh, for crying out loud," Archie said. "We're bored with your talking!"

Hannah's posture straightened considerably, and her eyes narrowed dangerously at him. Bad move, buster.

Archie Montana

He could tell he'd said the wrong thing when the girl sat up straighter and her eyes narrowed like a pair of squeezed lemons. Was she sour or what? Oh no, had Archie gone and upset the precious baby, whatever would she do! Throw her coffee at him?

Archie nonchalantly leaned toward Theo, just because he was closer and not for any other reason. The guy was alright but it really niggled him that they couldn't have found someone better to be his stunt double. Did his hair look like it got in a fight with a lawn mower? No, it did not. And how was he supposed to carry on playing his character and do the stunts for Archie's as well? Talk about a budget production.

So Archie leaned in close to Theo and very loudly whispered: "I think she likes me. I think maybe she wants to marry me so she can be Hannah Montana." Which did not go down well. If it was possible, the blonde girl's eyes got even narrower and Archie purposefully directing his attention away from her to Ralph who was looking slightly unwell in the corner. "So what's up with you Ralph?"

The actor tried to be casual but there was sweat beading on his head as he waited for the explosion, knowing he'd pushed it too far. Him and his big mouth. All Archie really wanted to do was get along with people and to be part of a big, happy fam- gag, gaggaggaggag gaaaag. Alright so Archie wasn't big on all that mushy rubbish, but did she have to take it so seriously? The explosion was a big one.

"I don't like you and I wouldn't in a million years want to marry you! You would be lucky if you could get a stick to say yes!"
