Hey all,
Desperately seeking info on the Victorian's treatment of tuberculosis (aka consumption), their attitude to sufferers, how the illness was diagnosed and treated, the rates of recovery etc. Also, does anyone know anything about Victorian spiritualism? I know it was very popular but did everyone believe in it or only a few? Were there any "real" (that is, never proven as fakes) mediums etc? What forms did their "powers" take? How were they treated? Who were they likely to be, and who were their customers? Any and all information would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance,
~bubbles
