Ooh England I was thinking of having my character descended from German heritage, so that works for me.

Take your pick. I'd probably keep the machete, since that seems like something a cook would have for slicing meat. You want the spear or the crossbow?

Well the spear could have it's use in cooking. I'll take the crossbow. We'll have to work it into the Story.
