Jace

I find Alyx in the living room with the twins and Halee, watching them play around with dolls and trucks. Smiling, Logan and Riley see me and run over. I scoop them both up and smile back, Halee waving at me from afar.

"Hey, guys. What's up?" I ask, setting my twins down and ruffling Logan's hair.

I study the guy, getting a bad feeling from him, and shake my head at Jackie's question, "No, I haven't."

Rayah

After a few minutes, I get out and walk in the house, yawning.

Jackie

I nod, "This is my older brother--" He punches me in the stomach, sending me backwards and I start crying...and laughing at the same time, "What the hell?!"

He shrugs, "Didn't expect it...did you?"

"No, Travis, I didn't f*cking expect it!" I cough, "God that hurt."

He studies me, "You've grown different. You used to me all strong."

I look up at him, "I had a kid. My stomach isn't that strong."

Jace

Rayah comes in and the twins flock to her, all giggles and smiles.

I help Jackie up and set a hand over her stomach, standing in front of her protectively, "You don't hit a girl. What part of that moral code did you not receive?"

Rayah

They litterally tackle me to the ground and I smile, "Be careful, mommys still fragile," I chuckle, crouching down to they're height.

I take both of them in my arms, watching them, and something electricutes me. "What the!" I back away from them, blue stuff zapping in Logan's fingers, and I swallow, "What. The. Hell."

Jackie

"She's not a girl..." He chuckles.

I tighten my jaw, "I hate you so much right now."

"Yay! Good. That means you'll fight harder. Come at me," He smiles.

I make sure my stomach is all good before doing as he says, kneeing him in the stomach and pinning him down.

"That hurt..." He closes his eyes.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry I--"

He knees me in the stomach, causing me to roll of him and he chuckles, standing, "Don't get destracted."

God...

I wrap my arms around my stomach, closing my eyes for a second, "No more on the stomach...please."

Jace

Logan zaps her and I flash a smile, taking him in my arms, "Let's go play with lightning somewhere else, buddy."

I watch, unsure if I'm supposed to help or just sit here. He knees her in the stomach again and I cringe. Jackie....stop. Please. This isn't training; this is taking a beating. There's a difference.

Rayah

I flash a smile, Riley reaching up for me. I take her in my lap and smile, "Don't choke me with vines, please, Rye," I chuckle.

She giggles and I wrap my arms around her.

Jackie

"C'mon, Jackie," My brother says, helping me up, "You can do better then this."

I just shake my head and cross my arms, "I'm better at school."

"Just...try you're hardest...alright? Pretend I just...tore up you're scholarships."

I stare at him, wide-eyed, "I would litteraly kill you if you did that."

He nods, "Good...I guess. Now try again."

I take a deep breath before kicking him in the stomach and putting him in an arm lock. I kick his knees out and he throws a punch, missing it. I catch his wrist, grinning. He smiles, "Good. Now let go before you break my arm."

Jace

I smile and lead Logan back to his toy truck, allowing him to zap it to his heart's content.

I swallow and get more anxious and anxious as the sour feeling in my gut grows. Okay.... I'm not the pacifist, but I know this won't end well. It's not worth it. It needs to end before something happens.

...and I'd break that guy's arm, given the chance...

Rayah

I get some sort of vision...a bad one. Jackie.

I stand, not hesitating to run out the door. Oh god, oh god.

Jackie

I chuckle at let go, only to feel something. Something weird. I take a deep breath, "Travis?" I ask, breathing heavily.

"Can you feel it?" He smiles.

I nod, closing my eyes, "Stop. This isnt funny."

He steps it higher and I cough, bringing my hands to my neck, "Seriously! Stop it!"

Jace

Rayah runs out and I look to Alyx, who's face is ashen.

"She'll be fine," he whispers, "It's the other sister-in-law that's having problems."

I hesitate before setting Logan down and chasing after Rayah, not going to stop her but not wanting her to do anything alone in this state.

I rush to Jackie and shove her brother backwards, "Stop it! Cut the crap right now! You're killing her!"

Rayah

I get to where she is, running to her, "Deep breaths," I tell her, "It'll be alright."

Jackie

My face pale, my brother just laughs even more. I cough again, dropping to my knees, "I-I can't breathe."

Rayah nods, "I know. Deep breaths, I'll handle you're brother."

She turns to my brother, "Cut the sh*t or I will go all goddess on you! And you do NOT want that to happen!"

Nic

He doesn't budge, Rayah taking over confrontation, and I begin to realize that I'll never stand to anyone's level here, that I'm a joke and nothing more. I turn back to Jackie and take her in my arms, unsure what to say other than what Rayah already had. Jace shows up and drops at my side, asking what happened before standing and heading to Rayah without my answer.

Rayah

"That's it!" I yell, my hands and hair turning to fire, "I'm going goddess on you!"

He backs away, swallowing, and I nod, walking towards him with my arms crossed, "Stop the sh*t. Or I will burn you're a*s to ash."

Jackie

Nic takes me in his arms and I tell him with my eyes. Take are of Halee. Please.

Nic

A sob lodges in my throat, my eyes watering more than before, and I shake my head, taking her face in my hands as my voice wavers, "Jackie, please. You're going to be alright. Don't say stuff like that. Please. Just hang in there."

Rayah

He just runs off and I destinguish the flames, sighing. Well. This sucks.
