i stand in the corner, watching hapy couples walk past. i can't beleive that my father insist i come here. hopefully, i will find something to do to make this whole weekend less of a nightmare.

I step through the glass sliding doors, taking a cursory glance around the room. Everyone is with a partner, I think glumly, and am just resigning myself to the holiday from hell, one single surrounded by sickly-sweet couples, when I notice a shadowy figure standing in the corner. Approaching, I put on my best smile and put out a hand. "Hi there, how are ya? What do they call you, then?" I hoped that I didn't sound too forward- I was pretty new to this 'romantic resort' stuff, after all.

i look up at the kind face. i can't beleive that a perfect stranger would show such kindness. i attempt to smile.
"y-yes. i am. w-what about you?'

Jace walks into the resort, sitting at a nice table with a view of the garden of roses outside, and waits for his sweetheart to arrive.

Rayah-

I walk in the resort, and see Jace. I sit across from him and smile. "Hey." I look him in the eyes and grab his hand. "Wucha wanna do?"

Jace sees Rayah and scoots her chair back for her, sitting back down and returning the favor when she takes his hand.
"Wucha wanna do?" She asks smiling.
"Anything you wanna do." He smiles back.

I smile back at him and bite my lip. "Uh...You pick for me," I said Closing my eyes.

"How about some food first?" Jace asks.

I nod. "Sure." I open my eyes and look at a menu. "What are you thinking of getting?" I asked.

"How about we split your favorite, yeah?" Jace smiles.

I nodded, "You like salad?" I ask looking up from the menu.

"Of course." Jace replies.

I nodded and put the menu aside. "It's beautiful out here." I said looking over the garden.

Jace ndos and takes Rayah's free hand, looking out at it too.
"And so are you." He whispers across the table.
