Indigo

I raise an eyebrow, confused.

Master is for...beings with...certain things....you don't have. You are a Mistress. Equivalent of Master, just not the exact.

Rayah

I shake my head, chuckling.

Nooo...I didn't mean it like that. I meant, Jace Or "Master' Or whatever you wanna call him..calls me Ray.

Indigo

I shrug.

No. Formalities are tradition. Sorry.

Rayah

I roll my eyes and say aloud, laying back down in the grass.

"Well then the tradition is really, really, boring." I sighed.

Indigo

I flash a smile and glance away.

Tradition is tradition. There isn't anything I can do.

Rayah

I smile back. "There are alot of things. You could be different." I said, looking up at the stars.

Indigo

I am different...

I glance at my hands again, bringing my knees to my chest and setting my chin on them.

Rayah

I shake my head,

"That's not what I meant." I said aloud. "I meant to throw the tradition away and just...Be different." I said.

I stood and walked back inside, rubbing my eyes. "I'mma go to sleep." I say, walking upstairs.

Indigo

Mistress leaves and I hesitate before walking back in the house and sitting at Master's feet, still human. He cradles Little Masters and nods at Mistress as she heads upstairs.

"I'll be up in a little," He says, "I'm going to put the babies to bed."

Rayah

I nod, still walking up the stairs. When I get to our room, I change into shorts and a tank top and climb into bed, pulling the covers over me, closing my eyes.

Indigo

Master sets the Little Masters in their crib and stands over them for a little. I scan over the room, stopping myself from growling at Dark Girl, and find Young Master half asleep on one of the other couches. Mischievously, I shift back and stalk over to the couch. I pounce and startle him, nipping his arm playfully.

Rayah

I hear thunder outside and swallow, trying to fall asleep quickly before the lightning comes. I hear lightning and curse, throwing a pillow over my face.

Indigo

Master heads upstairs, ruffling the fur on the top of my head goodnight, and after a few minutes of playing with Young Master I decide to follow. Curious, I trot in the room behind him and dive under the blanket, tunneling my way to the top and finding Mistress.

Rayah

Indigo ruffles through the covers and pops up infront of me. It made me jump and I remove the pillow from my face, "Oh, It's just you."

I look over at Jace, "Are they asleep?"

Indigo

Master nods and I curl up on one of the pillows, letting him lay close beside Mistress.
