I flash a smile and come up behind Jackie, wrapping my arms around her and kissing her cheek before looking at Jace, "Basically... the difference is s*x."

I roll my eyes at Nic and focus on Rayah again. Pushing everyone aside just to be with them... Have I been doing that? Slight guilt rises in my chest, making me uncomfortable, and I decide to change the subject, "R-Rayah said it was winter break."

Jackie

I roll my eyes at Nic, shaking my head as I smile playfully, "Don't listen to him, he's on medication."

Jace changes the subject and I study him before nodding but stay on topic, "You realize your not doing anything wrong, right?" I tell him, "It's her that's not ready."

My neck sore, I bring a hand to it and sigh.

Nic

I smile and sit beside Jackie, studying Jace.

I don't look at either of them, "I-I wanna talk about winter break now. I was telling Rayah before they took her away... I thought it was September still, but it's not. That's not good, is it?"

Jackie

I hesitate, "Depends. Your memory might come back."

Rayah

I wake, sore, and blink, moaning, "Wh-What happened?"

Nic

I keep Jackie's hand, watching them, and wonder if we should leave them alone again.

I flash a smile at Rayah, "They... took you. S'okay now."

Jackie

I watch them, "See? You guys are just cute. Where's the fire? Your twenty for gods sake..."

I glare at Jackie, smirking.

I flash a smile and shake my head, sighing.

I roll my eyes and move on Nic's lap, watching them with a raised eyebrow.

I look back at Jace, resting my chin on his shoulder.

I smile and wrap my arms around her.

I keep looking at her, not having it in me to show or tell her that my shoulder hurts a bit.

I shake my head at them, smiling.

I keep my forehead against his and smile wider.

Nic

Jace glances at us before focusing back on Rayah, keeping his smile.

"Sometimes the little things are the best," he says.
