Mount Olympus [5]

Jace

Unable to sleep, I sneak out of the house and to the cavern again. I take my head in my hands and close my eyes, not allowing myself to look at anything.

Nic

I head back to Jackie's side and sit, "But she's okay. She's right there."

Jackie

I yawn and nod, trying to stand, "Lets go home. S'Ray's birthday tomorrow and I want to spend it with her."

Nic

I glance over her chart before nodding, "Okay. W-what about Hales though? We can't take her with this small..."

Jackie

I swallow, "We'll come get her next week. She'll be bigger."

Nic

I nod and take her hand, helping her up, "Okay."

Jackie

I nod and glance around before unsteadily walking out.

Nic

I sigh and support her, making sure she's alright.

Jackie

He supports me and I just flash to the house, plopping on the couch as I close my eyes.

Nic

I flash with and sit at her side, "Y-you want anything?"

Jackie

I shake my head, "I just wanna sleep."

Nic

I nod and grab a blanket, lying her down, "Sleep then."

Jackie

I nod and keep my eyes closed, falling asleep.

Nic

I curl up on the recliner across from her, slowly falling asleep as well.

Rayah

I wake the next morning, Ella still on my lap, and yawn before quietly putting her in her bed. I make myself some bacon and sit on the couch again, exausted.

I wake the next morning and send Ray an happy birthday text before standing and making breakfast for us.

Jace

I wake the next morning with the guy's cape draped over me. Shrugging it off, I find him across the room. I say nothing, standing and heading back home. He doesn't stop me, though I have a sneaking suspicion he's following me.

I wake on the chair and find Jackie in the kitchen. Yawning, I stand and walk to her. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her cheek.
