Trapped in Hell

do you know
what it's like to be trapped in hell?
a place of no escape
where your brother engages in wrong doing
and you're simply known,
not for anything you do,
but for being related to him?

April 23rd

some people never learn

some people never learn.
they go and repeat the same wrongs
you can't believe their stupidity
shouldn't last summer have taught him?
as hard as it may be to believe
no.
some people are just so stupid.

Lines

Straight or curved,
simple or complex,
Or dialouge in a drama,
our world is a world of lines.

April 25th

Lace

Intricate lacework
on a dress or a headband
or even a bag.
lace
in the pattern of flowers
see-through.
usually white,
but sometimes multicolored
Very beautiful,
a girl can't live without lace.

April 26th

The Golden Girl

she had a job
with a corrupt man
when she meets a handsome man,
she can't resist his touch
she kisses him and
enjoys the time the spend
till her old boss uses his favorite
material.
he smothers her with it, and she dies
soon afterward
and leaves her to rot on the bed-side.

The Eye

beautiful and colored
on the outside
hidden by lush eyelashes
it gives us sight.
So complex yet so simple
you wonder how it does those things
so fast.

The Wind

Silent,
always there.
It blows against us in heat or rain.
Mostly hated,
a form of power.
The wind is a wonder.

April 29th

Hunger

I'm starving and
craving some food
maybe a coke
and some biscuits too?
Or how about a milkshake
all rich and chocolate-y.
And some pasta too.
Anything would help
my empty stomach.

(Oh my goodness, I can't believe NaPoWriMo is over already! I had so much fun doing it.)

a revered line from Shakespeare
it's very, very true.
sometimes you get sad
that your favorite thing is over,
but keep the memories of it near;
it will all turn out alright.
enjoy life for the next eleven months,
for all is going to be well.
When that time has past,
I'll get right to doing it again.
