Tikaya wrote:Hia, it seems like changing the forecolour does not work in forums atm?
topic/118012-tikaya-reads#p1723228 Did not get it to make the Green Room Witch pink :)

Noticed this as well! It looks fine under the message preview, but appears broken when published:

@Tikaya && @Wolfi ->> Thanks for letting me know. Colors are working again. What happened is I added hashtag parsing to forum posts, and that was interfering with the color hex codes as those start with a hashtag.

Thanks for fixing that so quickly!

Found a small slug bug (hehe) with user links on challenges pages. If I try to click on Omni here, it gives me a 404 because the link address is events/challenges/profile/Omni

Love the challenges system and how everything is automated!

An old and tricky bug again.

The autosave feature for comments / reviews works fine most of the time, but sometimes I find a significant part of my progress erased, despite the fact that it said it had autosaved with the timestamp when I had finished typing out everything. Happened to me a lot of times including today, it's just so frustrating that I was wondering if you could fix it.

I've tried saving reviews as drafts also, but it's generally not much helpful. Once it reloaded an old draft again after I had made some changes to it and saved them. This one is an old incident though, so I'm not sure if it still persists.

@Wolfi ->> Fixed!

@AlexWrites ->> Just made some quick updates to how autosave works. It's a system I originally built way back in 2007-ish, so it wasn't coded very well. I just went ahead and hooked it through a Laravel (a PHP framework) module for autosaving, so it should be working much more reliably now.

@vulesvelox ->> It should go through in about thirty minutes; I can see their activation email in the queue.

What's going on is there's a big newsletter send going out right now regarding the WriterFeed vote. So, email is lagging behind at the moment.

@CelticaNoir ->> That may have just been a temporary connection error. When the error is "No such file or directory," it means that the website was unable to make any connection with the database.

Still definitely a bug though. That kind of error should be handled gracefully rather than presenting the user with a big error document. Did it happen while replying to a comment on the People tab?

@Nate Actually it was while I was commenting on the RIP Chat thread in this forum, I think the autosave glitched out briefly before it gave me that

@CelticaNoir ->> That makes a lot of sense actually. I updated the autosave system just this morning, and I did it by just bootstrapping it into a different PHP framework. I was trying to save time, but good lesson for me.

Anyways, thanks for reporting it! I've updated the autosave so that it shouldn't happen again in the future.

The 'Go to your Review Team' button seems broken for me. It shows 'Page not working, the site redirected you too many times'.

Also, are review team club forums supposed to be visible in the feed? I also had trouble editing my post there as it includes a bunch of codes and characters making it difficult to navigate.

@AlexWrites ->> The redirect for "Go to your review team" should be fixed now.

The review team club forums should be visible in the feed and in other areas of the site. Previously, they were kept kind of hidden so as to prevent members from accidentally joining one directly. However, I fixed that loophole, so no harm in promoting it in more areas of the site.

Could you explain more by what you mean about a bunch of codes and characters?

The codes included <> brackets and reference terms like 'happy smilie' for :D. I went to fetch the exact thing but they're no longer there, so I believe it's fixed. Thank you!
