sign in toggle at the top left doesn't work on the home page but when i go to, say, the poetry tab, then click on it, it works there. win11 laptop, using chrome. works on my phone. it also show the people's tab, blogs, and leaderboard tab which it shouldn't show logged out. (though when you click on the people's tab or blogs, it prompts you to login.)

A slight malfunction with the games! So I completed today's Word Trail and if you see the time it took me, I think the problem becomes pretty evident. No, Nate, it didn't took me multiple hours to solve it, I swear ToT
I had the Train Word tab open, I admit it. But it was showing yesterday's (time zone thing related to when it updates I think) Trail in there, nor did I refresh the site at any point. Now I opened it fresh in another tab, finally clicked the start button and that's when today's trail become visible and I solved it.
I think the moment from when it starts the timer is faulty and needs to be synced with the start better. I'm not much worried about my rankings or streak because I don't do them so regularly or passionately. But I would still like the code fixed so it doesn't happen in the future to me or anyone else (no problem if this wrong time can't be corrected either), thank you!
I think others have encountered a similiar problem which is still more understandable, that the timer keeps going when you switch tabs so is there a way it could automatically pause when you're not active on it?
Yeah, that's my bad. Should be fixed now. Yesterday, I updated YWS to use PHP 8.4, but forgot to set the timezone in PHP 8.4. The code expects PHP to return New York time, but since I didn't set that, it was getting GMT. So, that kind of messed up any timestamps that relied on javascript.
Officers of a club used to be able to make an update as the club itself, but I don't see that button anymore. Has that feature been removed, or does it work differently now?

The "New Posts" sidebar is not updating for posts posted today. For instance, New Posts show the latest post in the forum is: post/1724090#p1724090 but there are two newer posts in that thread alone (1 and 2)
New posts also show a Writers Corner thread as the second newest but there's a newer post from that forum.
It's also not showing new posts from the Roleplay forums area. Showing this post as the newest but not my latest post which was written after.
desktop view doesn't work on mobile unless i have my phone sideways. it doesn't work with my phone in portrait. but just tested and this is only when signed out, it works properly when signed in. somewhat related to my previous bug report, i just forgot to mention.

On iOS safari, staying on a page too long or moving to another creates this error. It can be fixed by. Refresh but it is extremely annoying to repeatedly have to do so
