GREEN ROOM GALLERY

We had two HVA alerts this past few weeks. Now, the occasional HVA isn't that out of the ordinary. In fact, we expect it. We can't get to every work ASAP. We would like to, but the fact remains that we are only humans on keyboards, and there is only so much we can do. But two back-to-back alerts? You have to admit that that's a little ridiculous.
We are a site that is over 27K strong, and we can't even review enough to keep the Green Room even the tiniest bit tidy? I'm not chastising anyone, because let's face it, we all have lives and commitments outside the site. There's school, sports, work, and other things. And the holidays are coming up. And it's currently NaNo We're busy little bees. Heck, some of the Squills members are currently on leave because of things like these.
And I know that we all love to write. I've recently been posting a lot of new works that were just waiting to come out into the world. But the ratio of posting to reviewing is down so much that there are, right now, nearly sixty works in the Room. That's a little more than slightly disappointing.
But it's okay. Want to know why? Because before we know it, the holiday's will be over, NaNo will be done, the school year will end before we even realize it, and then we'll be out of this slump that we've got ourselves into. I can't wait for summer already.
This weeks Featured Green Room Work is Days of Gold Gone By: Ep.Five by our very own @Blackwood. Black is becoming known throughout the site as our friendly neighborhood friend of Pruno, Squills advice columnist. His work is a historical fiction serial, and has been in the Room since October 28 with no reviews. Pruno is a wonderful giver of advice. Does anyone have some advice of their own to give to his friend?
I'll see you next week!
