"I don't mind at all," Mira replied, grateful that she had someone to talk to. They maneuvered their way through the other people and pieces of furniture to one of the tables that was farther back in the cafe. It was a large one - if more people wanted to, they could join them there.
He lets her sit first, then takes a seat across from her.

Mira also moved over just a bit to give the newcomer some more space. She didn't need to, but she wasn't sure what she should say and doing that was the next best thing. After an unsettling few minutes of silence passed where no one said or ate anything, Mira decided to take matters into her own hands.
"Um, where are you two from? I'm from Wildegate, Connecticut. It's a small town that no one ever really hears about."
