If I try to post something it says I can't because I don't have enough "points"? Why is that, and how do I get more points?

I believe it takes 100 points to post a new topic. Points are kind of to prevent spammers. To get more points simply review more. The more you review and help people the more points you get.

I want to write a novel. How do I get a pic in the summaries background?

You first create a new project and follow the steps. Or if you already have a novel, click on edit novel and step 2(I think) will be the one where you can select a picture. To create a new project, you have to start a new topic first and then it will ask you if it is a new project or not. Then you can select what type of project it is. Does that help? Also, can we post pictures up here? I have one related to the project I'm working on and was wondering if I could post it up here.

I hope this isn't a stupidly obvious question, but when you want to post a new chapter of your story, do you post it on the same topic or do you make a new topic for it? XD

You know those smilies you see in the reply box on the right and they have a link that says view more smilies? How do you put those in your reply? I saw this wonderful smiley I wanted to use, but when I clicked on it and dragged it into the post, it gave me the link to the rest of the smilies. It didn't give me the single smiley. So, how do you put them in your reply?

You just click on it--you don't drag it into the text box.

Mmmk, open view more smilies. Drag your mouse over the smile you chose, like so: Then right click where you have blue and say copy. Then just paste where you want it to go on your reply.

It doesn't work for me! What browser are you using? I tried it in Opera and Internet Explorer and both suggestions didn't work.
