okay, so i'm too lazy to go through 10 pages of stuff, so i'm sorry if i'm repeating a past question and wasting your time.

how do you get the words below your username? the ones in black...
'"Many years ago, when I was young, I saw a fire, and what looked like death-- and beyond that, in the dark places, something...or some One, who knew me. Shall I at last find my way back to that wonderworld of Night?"'

Go to 'My YWS' at the top of the page and on the scroll down menu click 'Miscellaneous'. The second row down should say 'Custom Title'. Type in here what you want and submit it and then you should have the little black words below your name.

If custom title does not appear when you go to Miscellaneous, it is because you have not made enough posts to gain a custom title. (I can't remember how many it's supposed to be but there's a certain number....)

Hope that helps!!

How, why and when do you increase your number of stars?
And how, why and when do they change colours?

Alainna is exactly right on the custom title thingie, and the number of posts necessary for it to become an option is 250. It's set high on purpose to reward users for contributing to the site.

There's an 'X' button in the upper right hand corner of all your posts. Click that to delete.

Deleting accounts can't be done.

Ah, Claud, what I was trying to say was how do you do this:

topic21417.html

But instead of having the URL for it. It's the topic title/ whatever I want to call it in blue. Like what Nate has done with the YWS blog in his signiture.

Oh, that's relatively simple. It's difficult to explain, so I'll show you:

Story

Except, you leave out the spaces, and so it looks like this:

Story

Hope that helps.

How do you make a quote say "So-and-so Said:" rather than just plain "Quote:"?

...That's been bugging me for a while and I just can't figure it out. :(
