Cool light photos !! (these are fairly easy to take-- just wait until it gets dark, then find a place with a string of lights, and take a photo as you move your phone ^-^)
^ I would love to use this for my LMS cover, but it doesn't fit the vibes. :[ Feel free to use it if you want, though! (Just make sure to credit me <3)
^ this is currently my phone's lock screen background! C:
I made these for clubs day at my school. =P If anyone has any tips for avoiding the crinkling you can see in the second photo (like, when a wrinkle forms as you puff up the crane), it would be much appreciated. xD
#ArtPrompt for #SocialMonth 2023 (theme: something that makes you happy) I drew the letters YWS made up of buildings, because both YWS and drawing buildings make me happy ^-^
so, this week i’ve been trying to learn to draw characters! i’ve been copying artwork from pinterest, instagram, and webtoons. i love the style of Leehama (the creator of Gourmet Hound and Flowerpot), so i tried to imitate her way of drawing eyes, although my art is def not as good as hers yet…
anyways, character #1:
character #2:
i just find his expression so funny, lol. also, it wasn’t really intentional, but i realized that these two characters kind of resemble Sunny and Jasper from my novel-in-progress… Like, their expressions xD
character #3:
i need to practice drawing hands T-T
anyways, it’s been really cool to see myself improving! ^-^ until next time~
according to the internet, most markets sell spearmint, so i'm pretty sure it's spearmint c: i have a history of killing plants, but my dad is good with them, so i'm hopeful about this mint plant... xD anyone know any good recipes that use mint? =D
^ a lemon meringue pie! the pie crust was pre-made, but i made the filling, and my mom helped with the meringue c: it was really neat to see the filling gel up as i stirred it over the stove!
^ strawberry shortcake! i was too lazy to cut it in half and add strawberry/whipped cream filling to the middle though xD
Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts. — Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
