Magic glanced around at the other participants. "Damascus, how about you go next?" They gave the spinner a strong spin, and the dial landed on one of the slots after a few moments passed. "You'll be putting your left hand on a blue circle."
James nodded and looked down at the mat, thoughtfully considering the best angle to position himself in so that he would be in the best place to reach other circles with any other limbs. The row of green circles was on the outer left row, so he faced outward.
"Alright," he said, bending down and putting his hand on the furthest corner circle from the others.
Magic grinned and got more settled in their seat. This was going to be fun. None of the three playing the game had ever gotten a chance to before; they were in for a treat (or for torture) when the game really began to get heated.
Around them, the other occupants of the room - such as Schadel and her three assistants - found places to sit down and relax, and Magic made sure to conjure a few extra couches and chairs where choices were lacking. They wanted everyone to be comfortable while they watched, after all!
"Thytes, you're up again!" they declared. They spun the spinner. "Your left foot is going on a yellow circle."
The lion stretched himself out to set his foot down on the nearest yellow circle. Was that all there was to this game? It seemed awfully easy so far.

"Damascus, you're going to put your right foot on red," they said, glancing up to see the chaos that was soon to unfold on the board. It might have seemed like an easy game now, but once they got a few more rounds into it...
Diamond leaned back and pulled an orange and white cigarette from her pocket, followed by a lighter with which she lit the cigarette. She watched the game with mild interest. What a strange group of people.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
James looked below. The line of yellow dots was right next to the green, making it rather easy. He figured that sort of luck wouldn't last long. He put his foot on the yellow dot.
"Thytes, you're putting your right foot on green!" Magic called out, waiting for them to finally get to a point where they'd start struggling to stay balanced. That was the fun of the game - while it may have been challenging for the people participating, it was downright entertaining for all watching.
Oh dear. This was getting a little complicated. But it was all in good fun, and Thytes knew he was a tad stubborn, so he stretched out his foot towards the nearest green spot he could see. It meant having to snake his way under Damascus's leg, but he finally succeeded.
Thytes took a deep breath and looked up at Magic, waiting to see who'd move next.

Now things were starting to get interesting - Thytes had just had to maneuver around Damascus to get to his spot, and Magic knew more situations like that were only going to grow all the more likely. "Left hand on blue!" they informed the demon in question, eager to see how he would move with Thytes in the way.
